Silence finally found the murderer, Amiya, in a secluded warehouse where they faced each other. The warehouse was shrouded in darkness, with only a beam of light illuminating Amiya's twisted face.
"You came after all," Amiya sneered. "Is this what you call the truth?"
Silence did not respond; he calmly surveyed his surroundings. Suddenly, he noticed a protruding wooden board on the wall. He pushed it aside forcefully, revealing a hidden passage. At the end of the passage was a Tonn Room, where the last victim, a young girl, was imprisoned. She looked terrified, but when she saw Silence, a glimmer of hope flickered in her eyes.
"Don't be afraid," Silence whispered reassuringly. "I'm here to save you." He quickly rescued the girl from the Tonn Room and locked the door to the passage behind them. Then he turned to face Amiya. "Your experiment has failed."
Amiya's eyes flashed with anger and resentment. "What makes you think you can defeat me?" But as soon as he spoke, he realized his mistake—he had lost his chance to escape! Silence swiftly drew a sharp dagger from his waist and lunged at Amiya, but at the crucial moment, he halted. "Give me a chance to explain," Amiya trembled. "I wanted to cure people's fears through my experiments, but I was wrong." He lowered his head, tears falling onto the floor. Soon after, he was taken away by the police. The entire incident ended in silence, leaving behind a story about humanity and redemption, along with a silent nightmare that would never return.
With Amiya's arrest, the shadows over Shibuya gradually dissipated, but Silence's thoughts remained restless. He understood that the psychological scars hidden behind these cases would not vanish with their conclusion. To truly unravel this mystery, he decided to delve into Amiya's psychological theories and seek ways to heal those wounded by fear.
He began poring over numerous psychology books in the library and reached out to several experts for discussions. After months of effort, he finally discovered a potential solution: conveying emotions through silent art, allowing people to feel hope and love without words.
Silence set his plan into motion by establishing a Silent Art Studio at the community center, inviting those affected by the Amiya incident to participate. They could express their emotions through painting, sculpture, or any form without needing words. This studio quickly became a warm refuge where people found ways to vent and heal.
As time passed, silent art gradually spread throughout Shibuya District and even Tokyo. More and more individuals began embracing and participating in this movement, expressing their inner worlds through creation and finding peace and strength in the process.
In the Silent Art Studio, Silence quietly sat in a corner watching people express their emotions with brushes and sculptures. He realized that his mission as a detective had come to an end. Although he had once been the catalyst for this psychological war, he had now found a higher calling: healing hearts through art.
As he prepared to say goodbye, he left behind his final painting—a depiction of people connecting silently while seeking light together. This painting became the studio's signature piece and symbolized Silence's beautiful wishes for the world.
From then on, Silence's name did not circulate within law enforcement; instead, he became the guardian of silent art. He continued to watch over the studio as it grew into a place filled with hope and love. The silent serial murders became a part of history forever sealed in people's memories. Yet this history served as a reminder: no matter what fears or challenges we face, as long as we perceive with our hearts, express ourselves, and convey love and hope, we can find our own path to light.
