Taking a deep breath, Shen Wanzhou suppressed the fear and anger within her and calmly said, "Let me go. I can pretend nothing ever happened."
"Let you go?" Chen Yuantu laughed as if he had heard the greatest joke. "Shen Wanzhou, who do you think you are? Do you really believe you have the right to negotiate with me?"
Whether I have the right or not is not for you to decide, Shen Wanzhou replied coldly. "You can try and see whether you can kill me faster or this Soul-absorbing Shadow-catching Jade Disk can record the evidence faster!"
The smile on Chen Yuantu's face gradually faded, his expression shifting between dark and light. In the face of power and ambition, he ultimately chose to compromise.
"Fine! I agree!" Chen Yuantu gritted his teeth. "I can let you go, but how do I know that once you leave the Hou residence, you won't start spreading nonsense?"
Shen Wanzhou sneered coldly, her tone laced with sarcasm. "Do you think everyone is as hypocritical and sinister as you? As long as my children are safe, I won't expose your true nature to the world!"
"Hmph! I hope you keep your word!" Chen Yuantu snorted coldly, a glint of malice flashing in his eyes.
At that moment, Chen Yuantu suddenly moved with lightning speed, appearing right in front of Shen Wanzhou. He grabbed her by the throat while his other hand produced a dark pill that he forced into her mouth.

Shen Wanzhou felt a chilling sensation coursing down her throat to her heart. Before she could react, Chen Yuantu flung her aside.

Shen Wanzhou clutched her neck in pain, coughing violently, her face pale and weak.
"What... what did you make me swallow?"
She stared at Chen Yuantu in terror, her voice trembling with fear.
Chen Yuantu clapped his hands casually and adjusted his sleeves, a cold smile spreading across his face.
"Nothing much, just a poison. But don't worry; as long as you don't spread any nonsense, I won't activate it. You can still live well."
"But if you dare to say a word outside..." A murderous glint flashed in Chen Yuantu's eyes. "Then don't blame me for being ruthless and ensuring both you and your children meet a tragic end!"
Shen Wanzhou felt as if she had fallen into an ice pit, her entire body freezing. She never expected Chen Yuantu to be so despicable as to poison her!
Clutching her stomach and feeling the two faint lives within her, despair and indignation filled her heart.
"Chen Yuantu! May you die a horrible death!"
Shen Wanzhou cursed through gritted teeth, her eyes filled with hatred and fury.
Chen Yuantu, however, was unfazed; he threw his head back and laughed heartily. "Hahaha! I won't die a good death, so you needn't worry about me! You should think about yourself instead!" With that, Chen Yuantu turned and strode away, leaving Shen Wanzhou standing there all alone.
Weakly, Shen Wanzhou sank to the ground, drenched in cold sweat. She trembled as she placed her hands on her abdomen, feeling the faint lives within her. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably. Though she had managed to endure this confrontation for now, the road ahead was uncertain. Her body housed a poison that could explode at any moment, like a ticking time bomb. Betrayed by her husband, she feared for the lives of her children, who could be caught in the crossfire at any time.
Under the weight of all this pressure, she could no longer hold back and collapsed over her legs, her shoulders shaking violently. Despair enveloped Shen Wanzhou as she trembled while caressing her slightly rounded belly, murmuring, "Children, I'm sorry for not taking better care of you."
As soon as she spoke those words, she felt a stirring in her abdomen, as if the two little ones were responding to her. A warm wave surged in her heart; Shen Wanzhou's tears flowed even more fiercely now, but this time they were filled with emotion and hope. "Don't worry, Mother. When I come into this world, I'll definitely help you take revenge on that Scumbag Dad! I'll make him pay for this!"
Chen Li awoke to see the scene unfold before him. Anger surged within him, but he couldn't help but want to comfort his mother; however, his voice seemed to be muted in that moment. Only a faint warmth flowed back into Shen Wanzhou's body.
Shen Wanzhou was momentarily stunned before realizing what had happened. She gently stroked her abdomen with a tender expression. This was the comfort from her unborn children; she needed to pull herself together quickly! A smile broke through her tears as warmth filled her heart.
Feeling his mother's emotional shift, Chen Li moved his tiny hand contentedly. "You're still just a half-formed being; how can you talk big? The Emperor hasn't even spoken yet—who are you to seek revenge for Mother?" Another crisp voice with a hint of arrogance echoed in Chen Li's mind.
"What the hell is going on? I'm not alone, am I?" Chen Li was bewildered by the sudden loli voice that nearly burned him alive.
"Hey, how are you talking? I'm your brother!"
Chen Li quickly regained his composure and tried to establish his authority as an older brother in front of his sister. After all, as a system owner, he needed to assert his innate advantages.
"How dare you call This Emperor your brother!" The loli's voice was filled with disbelief and anger, as if Chen Li had committed an unforgivable crime.
"Oh, you've got quite the temper."
Instead of getting angry, Chen Li felt even more excited. This sister of his was quite interesting!
"You just wait!" The loli was clearly furious, struggling to find words for a long time before finally throwing out a harsh remark, leaving him in silence.
"Hahaha, waiting is fine by me. I'm not afraid of you!"
Chen Li chuckled inwardly; this sister was simply a live wire!
The commotion between the two little ones couldn't escape their mother, Shen Wanzhou. She felt a gentle stirring in her belly, which even slightly bulged out.
Soon, she realized it was fetal movement!
"Oh my God," Shen Wanzhou's eyes widened in disbelief. Everyone said that fetal movement only began after five months, but her child was only three months along!
