Li Mu calmly burst out of the room, facing the gang members trapped in the thick smoke. His gaze was cold and merciless as he raised his gun and fired. Accompanied by the faint "pfft" of the silencer, bullets flew silently from the muzzle, striking with deadly precision. Each shot was a fatal signal; with a pull of the trigger, someone would fall silently in the smoke. 0

"Bang! Bang!" 0

In this deadly silence, many gang members had not even seen where the enemy was before they were hit and fell to the ground. Blood quickly spread, staining the floor, their faces marked with terror and confusion, unable to utter even a single word. Someone shouted in panic, "Where's the enemy?! Find them!" Before he could finish, a comrade beside him was struck by an invisible bullet, his pupils dilating as he collapsed heavily to the ground, his weapon rolling away. 0

The surrounding thugs were increasingly terrified; they could not see their enemy in the smoke but heard footsteps and gunshots echoing around them. Each faint gunshot was followed by a heavy thud as someone fell. The gang members shrank back in fear, feeling an overwhelming dread as if death itself roamed through the mist, ready to claim their lives at any moment. 0

"Where the hell are you?!" one thug shouted, his voice trembling with barely concealed fear. Just as he finished speaking, someone next to him clutched their chest and collapsed, eyes wide with terror as they stared into the endless void before sliding down to the ground. 0

Li Mu's figure flickered in and out of visibility within the smoke, like a silent leopard. His steps were steady and silent; each time he pulled the trigger was a precise kill. Each fallen figure and each suppressed gunshot accumulated into a frenzy of despair within these thugs. Their world crumbled amidst smoke and blood, sinking into endless fear while Li Mu moved through this chaos unhindered, like a shadow of death silently reaping one life after another. 0

Wang Lei stumbled out of the room with a shotgun in hand, his face pale with rage. The smoke stung his eyes, causing tears to flow uncontrollably while his throat burned painfully. The acrid smell assaulted his nostrils and eyes, making him cough violently; his vision blurred as it was nearly engulfed by smoke. He angrily roared into the hazy air, "Damn it! Everyone listen up! Capture that bastard, hurry!" 0

Wang Lei's voice echoed through the smoke, but his subordinates had already lost their sense of direction due to it. They heard Wang Lei's curses but could not discern where they were coming from or even where their leader was located. In their panic, someone groped forward only to accidentally bump into a companion nearby, leading to a chorus of frightened shouts: "Hey! Where's the enemy?!" One person cried out as they stumbled backward, nearly dropping their weapon in fear of being ambushed. 0

"Don't shoot! It's our guy!" another thug yelled in haste but was then knocked down heavily by someone else. The handgun slipped from his grasp and clattered onto the floor with a sharp sound. He scrambled up quickly, looking around frantically; his vision blurred by smoke made it impossible to see clearly. His face was filled with terror and confusion as if every indistinct figure around him could be an enemy. 0

In the thick smoke, more thugs were thrown into chaos by the shouting; they tripped over one another and stepped on each other’s feet. Some yelled that "the enemy is coming!" while retreating hastily, mistaking their companions for Li Mu and panickingly aiming their guns in the wrong direction. The crowd jostled against each other in the cramped space, resulting in injuries; some were knocked down yet scrambled back up desperately toward an empty corner of the wall. The scene was absurd and chaotic, resembling a farce. 0

Wang Lei covered his nose and mouth as he watched his gang descend into chaos; his anger surged even more as he bellowed darkly, "Are you all blind?! Stop running around! The enemy is still here—calm down!" His booming voice sounded particularly loud amidst the smoke but did nothing to change the situation. The gang members continued to dodge left and right in panic, ignoring his commands and unable to determine where his voice came from; they only grew more frantic. 0

And at the center of this turmoil, Li Mu had already silently traversed through the corridor. Taking advantage of the thick smoke for cover, he moved like a shadow—silent and stealthy—arriving at the staircase leading to the second floor. Each step he took was steady and light, like an agile leopard in darkness gliding quietly up the stairs before disappearing into the shadows leading to the second floor. 0

Upon reaching the second floor, Li Mu paused briefly and glanced back toward the stairs. He could still hear Wang Lei's furious shouts echoing below, filled with anger and a sense of losing control, yet they sounded utterly powerless amidst the smoke. Meanwhile, the thugs scurried about like headless flies, panicking and colliding with one another, the sounds of stumbling, crashing, and misfired shots creating a chaotic symphony. The footsteps reverberated through the corridor, mingling with their coughs, cries, and terrified gasps. These sounds intertwined like a farcical play, continuously portraying chaos and disorder. 0

A cold smile crept across Li Mu's lips; their frantic reactions were precisely the chaos he had meticulously orchestrated. Each step of his plan had thrown his opponents off balance, and this turmoil not only concealed his retreat but also completely shrouded his movements in fog and fear. 0

In the dimly lit corridor on the second floor, Li Mu silently blended into the shadows, hidden in darkness. The task at hand was not yet complete, but the chaos below had become the perfect cover for his actions, providing him with an optimal opportunity to escape. He calmly adjusted his breathing, listening to the escalating turmoil below while he remained the silent director of this commotion, quietly plotting his next move from the shadows. 0

Li Mu understood that the confusion caused by the smoke grenade was ultimately just a temporary veil. As the smoke began to thin out, the gang members downstairs were already regrouping, angrily searching for his whereabouts. The guards on the second floor had evidently received orders as well; their footsteps grew closer, echoing through the corridor and gradually surrounding Li Mu's position. The situation was becoming increasingly unfavorable for him; he needed to act quickly. 0

Hiding in the shadows, Li Mu quickly scanned his surroundings, contemplating an escape route. Almost instantly, his gaze locked onto a window at the end of the corridor directly facing him. It was about a hundred meters away; he calculated that it would be a desperate gamble to break through, but he had no other choice. There was no time for hesitation; escaping was his only option. 0

He took a deep breath, determination flashing in his eyes. Suddenly, he sprang from the shadows and charged toward the window. His figure streaked down the corridor like lightning—light on his feet and swift—almost silent. The guards behind him had yet to fully react; all they saw was a shadow darting through the corridor toward the window. 0

As he ran, the guards gradually caught sight of Li Mu and shouted in panic, "Over there! Stop him!" Before they could finish their sentence, Li Mu swiftly raised his pistol without hesitation and aimed at the approaching guards. His marksmanship was precise and ruthless; with a slight elevation of his gun barrel, bullets accurately pierced through their shoulders and chests while the muffled "puff" of the silencer echoed in the narrow corridor. 0

As bullets flew out, one guard fell to the ground clutching his shoulder in pain while another was hit before he even had time to react, his body crashing backward against the wall. The remaining guards were thrown into disarray as they began firing wildly; bullets whizzed past Li Mu, striking walls and floors around him. Yet he remained calm amidst the gunfire, his gaze fixed unwaveringly on that window as he continued forward without faltering. 0

He constantly adjusted his shooting angle to eliminate threats along his path while quickening his pace straight toward that window. As it loomed closer before him, Li Mu glanced back to see guards hot on his heels; however, he knew he had gained an advantage. 0
