The situation gradually spiraled out of control. To dispel these chaotic rumors, the Police Chief of Hualien took it upon himself to stay in the room where the incident occurred for a few days.
"Everything is here; I’m the one suffering. I will definitely keep the lights off! Hahaha. You won't be scared, right? What’s there to be afraid of? I’m looking for ghosts!" The Police Chief forced a laugh, but his eyes betrayed a hint of nervousness.
