Wu Rong wanted to say something, but looking at Rao Jie’s eager eyes, he resigned himself to buying it.
Wu Xin clung to Rao Jie’s arm, laughing as she leaned against her. “This is so much fun! My brother was never this obedient before. Now that you’re here, I have the perfect way to deal with him. Jie Jie, you’re truly my treasure.” After saying that, she happily planted a kiss on Rao Jie’s cheek.
However, after the kiss, she instinctively turned her head away, as if afraid her brother might see her, looking guilty like a thief.

Rao Jie watched Wu Xin with a mix of amusement and exasperation, then turned to look at the distant figure of Wu Rong. Was it true that love makes one see beauty everywhere? “What is he fooling around about?” Rao Jie asked in confusion, recalling what had happened at the hotel. “What did you say to those men from Romantic Country?”
Taking advantage of Wu Rong being in line, Wu Xin whispered to Rao Jie, “Just now my brother told that man from Romantic Country that we’re not here for fun; he’s accompanying his wife for a check-up.”
Rao Jie’s face flushed immediately, feeling embarrassed and unsure of how to respond. She scolded Wu Rong in her heart for making such reckless statements. Even though he was speaking to foreigners, it still affected her reputation. Did he say something similar to those foreign women just now?
Rao Jie felt both amused and annoyed. He was taking advantage of the fact that she didn’t understand Romantic Language; she definitely needed to learn it properly when she got the chance.
When Wu Rong returned, Rao Jie’s gaze shifted from admiration to reproach as she looked at him.
Wu Rong raised an eyebrow but didn’t ask further. He presented the ice cream and tried to appease his wife.

As time passed, Wu Rong took Rao Jie and Wu Xin to the place he had planned earlier. It was a well-established dessert shop in Romantic Country that had just opened a new branch.
Wu Rong remembered that it was Rao Jie’s favorite dessert brand. Their chocolate and cream puffs were exported, but other desserts could only be enjoyed at their stores.
Since Rao Jie had never been to Romantic Country, she had never tasted them either; she had only seen them in dessert magazines and gazed at them with envy.
Wu Rong noted this and remembered that the new branch of the dessert shop had opened recently, which was why he had thought of bringing Rao Jie to Romantic Country.
Originally, the intention was to cater to others' preferences and win their favor, but unexpectedly, she ended up succeeding herself first.
In fact, when a new store opens, there are a limited number of invitations for customers, which Wu Rong had reserved in advance. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to get in on short notice.
After arriving at Romantic Country, Rao Jie had thought about trying out this new place, but she didn't expect to encounter such an opening event. After all, during the grand opening, they often offer commemorative desserts that may not be sold later; these could be masterpieces created spontaneously by the Pastry Chef.
Upon realizing Wu Rong's plan, Rao Jie looked at her with surprise, almost wanting to give her a hug right away.
Wu Rong smiled; it seemed that this arrangement had been quite successful.
