Revenge has a plan.
He stood quietly in front of the study window, looking at the dawn outside the castle. He knew that today would be an important day. He was going to carry out a complex and bold plan to expose the conspiracy of the White Robe Party and use their internal conflicts to seek greater benefits for himself and his family.
He walked to the desk and picked up a ring containing a miniature camera. This was specially prepared by him to record everything that was about to happen. His target was Hai, one of the twelve assassins of the White Robe Party and a direct participant in his father's murder. Revenge understood that capturing Hai was not difficult, but how to use her was the key.
He left the study and headed to the basement, where several members of the White Robe Party captured in previous battles were being held. Revenge needed to extract more information from them to ensure the success of his plan.
In the cold basement, the sound of iron chains and fetters seemed particularly harsh in the silence. Revenge walked up to a vampire who was being held separately, one of those previously imprisoned in Louias' dungeon. Revenge looked at him coldly and asked, "Tell me, where is Hye now?"
A hint of fear flashed across the vampire's face, but he quickly regained his composure. "You will never find her. She is one of the White Robe Party's finest assassins."
Revenge smiled faintly and took out a piece of paper from his pocket, on which was written some information: "Don't worry, I already know where she is hiding. You just need to tell me about her recent action plans."
The vampire hesitated for a moment, but ultimately spoke up: "Hai has recently been tasked with assassinating an important member of the council. She will be carrying out the mission tonight."
Revenge nodded in satisfaction and patted the vampire on the shoulder, "Very good, your cooperation will benefit you." With that, he turned and left the basement, preparing for tonight's operation.
As night fell, Revenge quietly led a few elite warriors to sneak into Hades' hiding place. It was an abandoned church, and the spire of the church looked particularly eerie in the moonlight. Revenge gave a quiet command, "Seal off all exits, don't let anyone escape."
They acted quickly and surrounded the church. Revenge walked into the church and saw Hai Zheng standing in front of the altar, praying softly. He stood quietly behind her and said in a cold voice, "Hai, we finally meet."
Hai turned abruptly and saw Revenge, a hint of surprise and anger flashing in her eyes. "How did you find me?"
Revenge raised the ring in his hand with a smile, the camera flashing with a glint of light: "Your companion told me everything. Now, come with me."
Hai angrily drew out a dagger and charged straight at Revenge. Her movements were swift and fierce, the dagger gleaming in the moonlight as it aimed directly for Revenge's throat. Revenge calmly sidestepped, the dagger grazing past his ear, and he grabbed Hai's wrist, twisting it forcefully until the dagger slipped from her hand. She quickly kicked out, aiming for Revenge's abdomen, but he was prepared, grabbing her ankle and pulling hard, causing Hai to lose her balance and fall heavily to the ground.
Revenge quickly bent down and used a specially made handcuff to bind her hands behind her back. Hai struggled for a moment, then fell to the ground, looking at Revenge with resentment. "You will regret this," she said.
Revenge coldly replied, "I won't regret it, but you will." He ordered his men to take Hai away, and he stayed in the church, waiting for the next step of his plan.
After returning to the castle, Revenge took Hai to a secret room. He unlocked her handcuffs and made her sit on a chair, while he sat opposite her, looking at her coldly. "Hai, do you know why I didn't kill you?"
Hai sneered, "Because you want to get something from me."
Revenge smiled and took out a document, handing it to Hai: "This is the order I intercepted from their hands. They think you have become unreliable and are even considering getting rid of you."
Hai took the document, read it carefully, and gradually turned pale. The document clearly stated the White Coats Gang's lack of trust in her, as well as their surveillance and suspicion of her. Her hands trembled slightly, and a hint of despair flashed in her eyes: "This can't be..."
Revenge said coldly, "They no longer trust you, but I can give you a chance. You help me deal with them, and I'll keep you safe."
Hai remained silent for a moment, then suddenly looked up teasingly and said, "Impossible, little one."
After arriving in the main city area, Revenge deliberately chose a bustling street and parked the car in a conspicuous location. He opened the car door, walked to Hai's side, and said in a low voice, "Remember, you are now my captive."
Hai nodded, a hint of coldness flashing in his eyes. They both got out of the car and headed towards the headquarters of the White Coats Gang. People on the street saw this scene and began to whisper to each other. Soon, the news spread throughout the entire main city area.
White Coats Gang member Si was the first to discover them. Si is one of the Twelve Assassins, ranked just before Hai, and has a sly and cunning personality. He saw Hai being brought back by Revenge, with a hint of doubt and unease in his eyes. He coldly asked, "What's going on here?"
Revenge smiled and said, "I caught Hai while she was on a mission, and I brought her back."
Si glanced at Hai and a hint of disdain flashed in his eyes: "Has she betrayed us?"
Hai looked back at him coldly: "I have not betrayed, but obviously someone wants me to be seen as a traitor."
Si sneered, "Regardless, you are no longer one of us." With that, he turned and left, leaving Hai standing alone.
Hai's plight and transition
Hai was brought back to the headquarters of the White Coats Gang, but she quickly found herself in an exceptionally difficult situation. She was under surveillance, suspected, and even prohibited from participating in any activities. Her comrades were wary and hostile towards her, especially Si, who seemed to be orchestrating it all behind the scenes.
Hai's heart was filled with anger and despair. She felt loyal and devoted, but did not receive the expected reward. She began to reflect on her position and choices, gradually developing doubts and disgust towards the White Coats Gang.
A few days later, Si came to find her and coldly said, "You have been confined here, not allowed to take a step away."
Hai asked angrily, "Is this an order or your personal preference?"
Si sneered, "What's the difference? You are no longer important."
In the eyes of Hai, there was a hint of determination: "You will pay the price for this."
Si left with a sneer, igniting a raging anger in Hai's heart. She knew she had to make a change to break free from this predicament.
