It was a scene of a diligent young man engaged in dismemberment. 0

The body parts he separated were cleanly cut, and there was no blood splattered around the room. The reason for his "skill" lay in the fact that he had killed ten people within three months, all of whom had met the same fate of dismemberment. 0

The young man understood that experience is accumulated over time; there are no instant successes. To avoid turning his space into a bloody mess, he delved deeply into the methods of killing and dismemberment. He purchased a welding machine and spent a week studying before crafting a professional "dismemberment table." 0

From then on, in a secluded residence, terrifying scenes of arms, thighs, and various internal organs scattered across the floor would emerge every eight or nine days. Astonishingly, this series of gruesome murders and dismemberments stemmed from three discarded sterilizers. What could have led to this? 0

Incident Date: May 24, 2003. 0

At 2 PM that day, two officers from the Nanjiao Police Station in Lucheng District were patrolling their jurisdiction on motorcycles as usual. However, when they passed through a narrow alley, they found a bicycle with a large bamboo basket blocking their way. 0

With no other option, they dismounted and politely knocked on the door of the house next to the bicycle. The person who answered was Xiao Jiang. Upon learning the officers' purpose, he immediately stated that it must be Chen Yongfeng, the tenant from the back alley who collected scrap materials, as he often parked his vehicle in front of Xiao Jiang's house due to its spaciousness. 0

The officers then followed Xiao Jiang to Chen Yongfeng's residence. Before they could knock on the door, they heard deafening music coming from inside, mixed with sounds resembling someone chopping bones. 0

What caught the officers' attention was that upon hearing Xiao Jiang's call, Chen Yongfeng not only did not come to open the door but also hurriedly claimed he was busy and asked Xiao Jiang to help move the bicycle. 0

Sensing something amiss due to their professional instincts, the two officers immediately identified themselves and requested to check for a temporary residence permit. However, Chen Yongfeng refused to open the door and there were sounds from inside that resembled heavy metal objects falling. One officer decisively chose to force entry by breaking down the door. 0

Unexpectedly, Chen Yongfeng suddenly burst out of the door with a knife, desperately trying to escape. Fortunately, another officer reacted quickly and grabbed him, pinning him firmly to the ground. 0

The officer noticed that Chen Yongfeng's clothes and hands were covered in blood, while inside the room lay a metal bed with a body missing its arms and legs. The wound was a gruesome mess, continuously oozing fresh blood. 0

Even more shocking was the sight of several woven bags scattered beside the corpse, containing dismembered arms and legs. It was clear that this was a murder and dismemberment scene. Chen Yongfeng had been packing the body parts into bags and throwing them outside to destroy evidence. 0

During the interrogation, Chen Yongfeng stubbornly denied any wrongdoing, refusing to answer any questions from the police. However, his psychological defenses crumbled after 48 hours of fierce resistance, and he finally broke down. 0

What was shocking was that this was not Chen Yongfeng's first act of murder and dismemberment; he had previously killed nine others. So what exactly had happened? 0

Born in 1983 in a poor village at the northernmost end of Qingtian County in Zhejiang Province, Chen Yongfeng was introverted and reclusive from a young age. When the police came to check his temporary residence permit, he was so frightened that he accidentally knocked over a metal basin. 0

As the police were about to break down the door, he decided to make a desperate move, charging out with a kitchen knife used for dismemberment. Before he could react, he was pinned down by the officers. Thus emerged a demon who had killed and dismembered ten people within three months. 0

After the incident, under Chen Yongfeng's guidance, the police recovered a total of 29 bags of bones from the riverbed and foul ditches where he had disposed of the bodies. 0

Upon verification, there were ten victims, none of whom were locals from Wenzhou; they were all transient individuals. Due to their weak self-protection awareness and infrequent contact with family, they mysteriously disappeared without anyone noticing or reporting it. 0

On October 16, 2003, the Wenzhou Intermediate People's Court sentenced Chen Yongfeng to death for robbery and deprived him of political rights for life. 0

After the trial, Chen Yongfeng appealed his sentence. On April 7, 2004, the Zhejiang High Court upheld the original verdict and dismissed his appeal. Subsequently, Chen Yongfeng was taken to the execution ground to carry out his death sentence. 0
