When people say it’s not because they didn’t eat the ribs, it sounds good but can be quite harsh. They say that the old family is too formidable, and they fear having a mother-in-law like that in the future would be difficult to deal with. 0

However, this is precisely why the old family and the Zhang family have completely fallen out. After all, if it weren't for the Zhang family's son cheating, the old family wouldn't have caused such a ruckus. But that's a story for another time, and it has nothing to do with Hao Chunying and the others; it’s just idle talk that will pass. 0

Oh well, who cares? It has nothing to do with us in this courtyard. 0

“Aunt Hao, Tian Feifei went on a blind date, right? How was the young man? Did she hit it off?” Liu Qiaofang asked. 0

“Yeah, he seems pretty good. Aren't you cooking?” Hao Chunying replied tersely, not wanting to engage further with Liu Qiaofang. 0

After all, Hao Chunying didn’t particularly like Liu Qiaofang; she was the daughter-in-law of the old Zhao family across the street and often hung around with Wang Dazui. However, unlike Wang Dazui, who loved to gossip but had a good heart, Liu Qiaofang was someone Hao Chunying kept a wary eye on; she wasn’t someone to be underestimated. 0

Moreover, living right across the street meant Hao Chunying often saw her at home trying to outshine her mother-in-law and sisters-in-law. So she didn’t want to discuss Ye Fangfei’s blind date with her. 0

“Oh dear, I almost forgot! My pot is still cooking!” Liu Qiaofang said hurriedly before rushing off. 0

Aunt Sun shook her head and smiled at Liu Qiaofang’s flustered departure. “That Liu Qiaofang is something else,” she remarked. 0

Hao Chunying knew Aunt Sun didn’t like Liu Qiaofang either. She wasn’t sure why; Liu Qiaofang hadn’t done anything to provoke them, yet they just couldn’t warm up to her. 0

“I wonder what Sister Shuqin thinks. Her family isn’t bad; they have decent jobs. Why would she settle for a rural daughter-in-law?” Hao Chunying whispered to Aunt Sun. 0

“Well, who knows? But I heard from Cuifen (Liu Qiaofang's sister-in-law) that it seems Liu Qiaofang and Zhao Gangtie are in a free love situation. Apparently, they were secretly together before marriage,” Aunt Sun confided quietly. 0

Hao Chunying hadn’t known about this; she only remembered that initially Zhao Dazhu and his wife were against Zhao Gangtie dating a rural girl, but somehow later they agreed. 0

So there were these matters behind it all. 0

“I really didn’t know! I wonder why Cuifen would spread that around,” Hao Chunying said, having some understanding of Cuifen. After all, she had been married for several years now and wasn’t one to gossip excessively. 0

It was still Liu Qiaofang, who, after marrying in, wanted to get money from Cuifen and even tried to stir up trouble between Cuifen and her mother-in-law. 0

Cuifen was also angry about it; just the other day, she had been complaining to me about it. Aunt Sun said. 0

The two of them exchanged a few more casual remarks when Ye Fangfei returned with Tang Zhicheng. 0

As soon as Aunt Sun saw Ye Fangfei leading a young man inside, she smiled and said, "Oh, Feifei is back! Is this her boyfriend? What a spirited young man!" 0

"Little Tang is here; this is your Aunt Sun," said Hao Chunying, delighted to see her daughter bringing back Tang Zhicheng and eager to introduce him. 0

"Hello, Aunt Sun. I’m Tang Zhicheng; you can just call me Little Tang," Tang Zhicheng replied sweetly, knowing how to make a good impression. 0

"Good, good! Little Tang, you really are a fine young man. Chunying, this lad is quite impressive; he deserves our Feifei," Aunt Sun remarked. 0
