"Don't worry, once I sell these items, I'll have the money for you," Tang Zhicheng explained. "However, the profit from this batch is quite substantial, and I don't want to rush into selling. I want to wait for the right opportunity." 0

"Just give me the money first; I'll return it to my colleague," he added. 0

"Alright, this outfit isn't cheap, but the quality is good, and I really like it," Ye Fangfei replied. "Next time if there's a men's version, you should buy one for yourself too. Don't always think of me." 0

"I don't need it. I'm just a rough guy; I can wear anything. There's no need to buy such nice clothes for myself," Tang Zhicheng said. "Besides, I prefer buying things for my wife. Seeing her dressed beautifully makes me happy." 0

Hearing this, Ye Fangfei shot him a playful glare, which made Tang Zhicheng's heart warm. He instinctively pulled her close and wanted to fall back onto the bed. 0

"Wait! I don't want to wrinkle my new clothes!" Ye Fangfei quickly stopped him. 0

Tang Zhicheng had no choice but to hold back and helped her take off her coat, hanging it in the wardrobe. 0

"What are you in such a hurry for? Take it slow," Ye Fangfei chided as she glared at him. 0

"I can't help it; I'm starving, my wife!" Tang Zhicheng said as he pulled her down onto the bed. 0

The next morning, Tang Zhicheng woke up feeling refreshed. Knowing that his wife liked the corn gruel he made, he boiled water and prepared another batch. 0

"Just eating light stuff in the morning won't fill me up," he thought as he made a few egg pancakes. Then he considered preparing a couple of side dishes to go with the gruel. 0

Yesterday, he had brought back some ribbon fish, so he cleaned two of them and pan-fried them for a plate. He also stir-fried a plate of eggs with pickled vegetables. 0

Once everything was ready and the time was right, Tang Zhicheng went into the room to wake Ye Fangfei. 0

"Wife, it's time to get up; you have to go to work soon," he said gently as he patted her arm. 0

"What time is it?" Ye Fangfei asked lazily as she opened her eyes. 0

"It's almost seven o'clock. Get up and eat; I've made corn gruel and egg pancakes," Tang Zhicheng said as he handed her a cotton jacket. 0

"It's so late already, it's all your fault. I said I wouldn't come, but you insisted," Ye Fangfei complained as she put on the cotton-padded jacket. 0

Tang Zhicheng, unfazed by her complaints, smiled and said, "It's my fault, my fault." 0

Ignoring him, Ye Fangfei quickly got dressed and headed to wash up. 0

Tang Zhicheng arranged the blankets neatly on the bed and set two bowls of porridge on the table from the kitchen. 0

When Ye Fangfei returned from washing up, Tang Zhicheng was sitting at the table, carefully removing the bones from the ribbon fish for her. 0

Seeing her come over, he cheerfully called out, "Wife, come here! I've already served your porridge." 0

Ye Fangfei couldn't help but smile at his thoughtfulness as she sat down. 0

However, just as she picked up her chopsticks, a strong fishy smell hit her nostrils. 0

"Ugh." Ye Fangfei couldn't help but gag. 0

"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Tang Zhicheng asked with concern as he set down his chopsticks and leaned closer to her. 0

"Ugh, get away from me!" Ye Fangfei pushed him aside. 0

Tang Zhicheng had just finished frying the fish early in the morning, and he still carried the lingering smell on him. 0
