"Duheng Yan, I have a request. Can you agree to it?"
When Chi Mu Jiu saw him preparing to put on an apron, a thought suddenly flashed through her mind.
"What is it?"
Duheng Yan could tell from her mischievous smile that it was nothing good. He frowned slightly, a sense of foreboding rising within him.
"Let me see your abs and chest!"
Chi Mu Jiu exclaimed excitedly, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
"Don't even think about it!"
Duheng Yan decisively refused.
"Please, just this once!"
Chi Mu Jiu persisted, her voice sweet and filled with an endless charm that made it hard to say no.
Duheng Yan sighed in resignation. "What do you want me to do?"
His tone carried a hint of compromise.
Upon hearing this, Chi Mu Jiu immediately seized the opportunity and opened a video on her phone to show him.
"You!"
Duheng Yan exclaimed, clearly annoyed. "I want to see it too!"
Chi Mu Jiu continued to plead, her expression making it difficult for him to refuse.
Duheng Yan gritted his teeth, his face darkening. It turned out that during the time he was away, this woman had been watching other men online! If she weren't feeling unwell, he would have pinned her down on the sofa and taught her a lesson right then and there.
"If you want to see it, you need to unfollow and remove your favorites first!"
"Deal!"
Chi Mu Jiu quickly agreed, swiftly unfollowing and removing her favorites before showing him the screen.
Under the expectant gaze of Chi Mu Jiu, Du Heng Yan took off his shirt.
His towering figure, standing at one hundred and ninety-three centimeters, was fully revealed—broad shoulders and a solid chest that resembled an indestructible wall. Each sculpted muscle of his perfect abs was clearly defined, radiating strength. His pectorals were full and robust, rising and falling slightly with each breath, as if containing boundless energy.
This was the first time Chi Mu Jiu had seen Du Heng Yan's physique so clearly; the perfect curves of his abs and chest left her momentarily stunned. She felt her head rush with blood, a sudden clarity washing over her, and before she knew it, her hands reached out to touch him.
The hard texture of his muscles quivered slightly under her touch, filled with power.
"Don't touch!" Du Heng Yan's ears turned red, his voice trembling slightly. He quickly took her hand away and wrapped himself in an apron, trying to hide his embarrassment.
It was utterly humiliating; how could he have thought this woman would make such an unreasonable request?
"Du Heng Yan, I didn't expect you to be so skilled at this," Chi Mu Jiu teased, thinking he was playing hard to get. Little did she know that Du Heng Yan was genuinely shy.
He shot her a glare but found himself at a loss for words.
"Du Heng Yan, you're really going to drive me crazy," Chi Mu Jiu said without blinking.
Flushed with indignation, Du Heng Yan turned away and headed into the kitchen, attempting to calm himself down.
Meanwhile, Chi Mu Jiu lingered in the living room, savoring the heart-racing scene from just moments ago.
"Du Heng Yan! What’s wrong?!"
"I still want to see!"
"I want to see! I haven't seen enough! Come back!"
Late in the evening, Jiu hurriedly ran into the kitchen.
