That day I lost my necklace while shopping with my sisters, and when I went to check the surveillance footage, I saw my sister entering a men's clothing store with a man," Chi Qiyun stammered, feigning shock. Her body trembled slightly as she spoke in a hushed yet fervent tone. Tears welled up in her eyes, as if she had suffered a great injustice.
As soon as she finished speaking, the banquet hall erupted into a flurry of whispers. Speculations and rumors swirled around like wildfire, filling the air with a cacophony of voices.
The Chi family was known for their strict family values. Moreover, their relationship with the Su family had always been good. Although Chi Mu Jiu had opposed the recent engagement proposal, Chi Feng had still made his intentions clear to the Su family.
