He let out a light laugh and effortlessly threw Chi Mu Jiu over his shoulder.
Chi Mu Jiu immediately exclaimed, "Hey, wait! Du Heng Yan, he dislikes you!"
Du Heng Yan, however, appeared completely at ease and teased, "I prefer carrying a sandbag like this over a hug from the main character."
Upon hearing this, Chi Mu Jiu retorted angrily, "Who are you calling a sandbag?"

With Chi Mu Jiu slung over his shoulder, Du Heng Yan strode towards the cabin of the luxurious yacht. As they passed by some young couples, their expressions were filled with surprise. The girls looked at Chi Mu Jiu with a hint of envy in their eyes.
Embarrassed and annoyed, Chi Mu Jiu was grateful for her mask; otherwise, she would have been utterly humiliated tonight.
"I... I want to say something," she finally managed to utter, unable to bear the awkwardness any longer. Her voice carried a touch of helplessness and bitterness.
"Go ahead, I'm listening," Du Heng Yan replied casually, still holding her with one hand as he walked steadily forward, ignoring the gazes of those around them.
As Du Heng Yan quickened his pace, they gradually approached the lounge area where many more people were gathered compared to the back deck.
Chi Mu Jiu felt increasingly flustered. "You need to put me down first before I can talk!"
"Madam, you should understand that right now you have no leverage to bargain with me," Du Heng Yan said playfully, showing no intention of letting her go. His hand pressed slightly against her waist, tightening its grip.
Chi Mu Jiu felt even more constrained by his hold.
"I... I like you, I really like you."
Chi Mu Jiu's face turned crimson, and although her voice was not loud, it resonated clearly in the lounge.
"Yes, I know."
Du Heng Yan replied tersely and flatly, but a satisfied smile had already crept onto his stern face beneath the mask.
"So can you put me down now?"
Chi Mu Jiu asked eagerly, feeling her cheeks burn like a ripe apple.
"Depends on my mood."
Du Heng Yan answered leisurely, unfazed.
"You... you're being unreasonable! I take back what I just said!"
Chi Mu Jiu was both angry and anxious; she felt like she was being toyed with by this man.
Once words are spoken, they are like water spilled out; besides, everyone here heard it.
Why should I be the one to say such things first?
Chi Mu Jiu asked stubbornly, feeling completely at a disadvantage in this battle of wills.
"You said it willingly; no one forced you, sweetheart."
Shameless and audacious, he reveled in his triumph.
Chi Mu Jiu muttered angrily under her breath, her voice filled with frustration.
"Well, go ahead and curse a bit more; you won't have the strength to do it later."
Du Heng Yan said with an easy smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
Upon hearing this, Chi Mu Jiu felt as if she had been electrocuted and immediately fell silent.
Du Heng Yan chuckled softly without saying anything further.
With the sound of the lock clicking open, Chi Mu Jiu was carried into the room.
"Madam, it's time for bed."
"You—"
Before Chi Mu Jiu could finish her sentence, Du Heng Yan tossed her gently onto the soft bed.
"Madam, behave a little, and perhaps you can escape this calamity."
As the mask was removed, he kissed her passionately.
