Though her tone was sweet, Chi Mu Jiu could detect the underlying malice and hatred in every word.
Chi Mu Jiu raised her gaze slightly and responded with an indifferent expression:
"What's wrong with you?"
She showed no fear in the face of Chi Qiyun's sarcasm.
"Oh, right, sister, didn't your Lei Shao buy you anything at the auction?"
As she spoke, Chi Mujiu took out the pink diamond that Du Hangyan had bid for her at the auction and elegantly slipped it onto her finger in front of Chi Qiyun.
Under the lights, the pink diamond refracted a dazzling brilliance, shining brightly.
Chi Qiyun's expression changed instantly, yet she struggled to suppress her emotions.
"Well, it's true that he wouldn't spend a few hundred million on your man. It's fine if he doesn't."
Chi Mujiu continued, her tone laced with mockery.

"That man who loves and dotes on you—he didn't just sleep with you at the auction and leave, did he?"
"You!"
Chi Qiyun glared at Chi Mujiu, ready to curse, but at that moment, Ji Yuyan and Chi Feng walked into the restaurant.
Seeing this, Chi Qiyun swallowed her anger.
She knew better than to show any emotions that contradicted her usual obedient demeanor in front of her father; otherwise, all her previous efforts would be in vain.
"What are you two sisters chatting about? It looks like you're having a good time."
Ji Yuyan secretly wished she could swallow Chi Mujiu whole but managed to speak with a smile.
A false smile adorned her face, but her eyes occasionally darted toward the pink diamond on Chi Mujiu's hand.
Sometimes, Chi Mujiu really couldn't understand why these two women with such acting skills stayed in the Chi family every day to scheme against her.
Wouldn't it be better to join a film crew? With such talent, performing just for her was a waste!
"It's nothing, Mother. I just thought that the pink diamond on my sister's hand looked beautiful and wanted to discuss if I could try it on. But my sister seems to treasure this ring quite a bit."
