The towering modern skyscraper exuded an air of solemnity and seriousness.
Chimu Jiu's gaze traversed the transparent glass, landing in the spacious conference room. Inside, rows of professionals in business attire were engrossed in their documents, some quietly discussing work matters. The entire scene was grave and austere, all waiting for the arrival of an important task and the strategies about to unfold.
This sight tightened Chimu Jiu's chest, a strong sense of pressure surging within her. It felt as if she had returned to the domestic workplace. She furrowed her brows slightly, appearing somewhat dissatisfied.
"What’s wrong?"
Du Hengyan noticed her pause and instinctively inquired. The two deputy presidents and the assistant behind them were already sweating profusely with anxiety.
Today felt like a day when everyone was nervously awaiting the arrival of the King of Hell; who would have thought that this usually cold and serious President Du, radiating an aura of intimidation, would actually bring his wife along for a work inspection?

Du Hengyan agreed without hesitation, then turned to the few people who had been waiting behind him and said, "Everyone in the company will have their salaries doubled."
What?! Is this for real? This is too good to be true! Happiness has come so suddenly!
"Yes! President! Thank you, Madam President! Thank you!"
The few people were so excited that they stumbled over their words. Before they could finish speaking, Du Hengyan had already entered the conference room gracefully with Chi Mu Jiu. The others quickly followed suit.
"President!"
At this call, everyone stood up in unison, their movements perfectly synchronized. However, after barely a second of stunned silence, they quickly reacted and shouted together:
"Madam President!"
On the surface, Chi Mu Jiu remained calm and composed, her cool demeanor like a tranquil lake, not a ripple disturbing its surface. But inside, she felt as wild and free as a horse that had broken free from its reins.

She slowly sat down in her designated spot, where a nameplate reading "President" prominently displayed her special status at that moment. Du Hengyan stood beside her, his tailored suit accentuating his striking physique like a character straight out of a movie, exuding an undeniable powerful aura.
