He sighed and agreed.
What could he do? His wife wanted to hear it. No, it wasn't just his wife; he himself wanted to sing.
Upon hearing his consent, Chi Mu Jiu immediately adjusted the computer's position and then got up from the sofa, obediently lying down on the bed.
Her movements were smooth and fluid, a seamless flow. She even tucked herself in tightly under the covers.
"I'm ready; you can sing now," she said, blinking her eyes, filled with anticipation.
Noticing his somewhat troubled expression, Chi Mu Jiu was certain that this powerful boss, who ruled the business world with an iron fist, could not sing. At least, he was definitely tone-deaf.
Good, she thought, now she could watch this high-and-mighty man lower himself and force himself to do something he wasn’t good at.
Du Hengyan looked at the beautiful girl lying on the bed, unable to suppress a smile creeping onto his lips. He felt secretly pleased.
How could he not guess her little thoughts?
"What song do you want to hear?"
"Something popular lately," she replied.
It wasn't too difficult for Du Hengyan, with his deep voice.
"Baby, can you fall asleep listening to this kind of song before bed?"
"Just sing?"
Du Hengyan raised an eyebrow, trying to suppress the smile that wanted to break free.

With a reluctant expression, Chi Mu Jiu slowly picked up her phone and, with great reluctance, uncategorized the only video she had saved on that app.
As the saying goes: "As long as the green mountains remain, one need not worry about firewood."

At worst, she would agree to listen first and then decide.
After canceling the collection, she deliberately pointed her phone screen at the camera and feigned anger as she asked, "Can I sing now?"
Du Heng Yan chuckled disdainfully and succinctly replied, "Close your eyes, sweetheart."

"Who told you I couldn't?" Du Heng Yan raised an eyebrow in response, a faint smile in his eyes clearly revealing that he had seen through her thoughts long ago.
"Are you still listening, sweetheart?"
"Of course! Even if I can't sleep, I want to listen."
Who could refuse the deep bass of a man singing? Especially when it’s someone like Du Hengyan, whose contrasting presence makes it all the more unexpected.
The gentle breeze intertwined with his voice, reminiscent of familiar times long past.
As Jiu closed her eyes, listening to him sing, her mind inexplicably drifted to the image of Du Hengyan cooking in the kitchen, clad only in an apron.
Wrapped in that apron, he sang while preparing a meal, and she couldn’t help but reach out to touch his chiseled chest and abs.
It was just as the online commenters said—like a rhythmic chant echoing through cyberspace.
What a delight it was! How could one enjoy such a feast?
Yes, after listening three times, the little raccoon felt unsatisfied. Du Hengyan was almost ready to record the song for her to play on repeat.
