She struggled to pull out a smile, inching closer. Du Hengyan, with red-rimmed eyes, obediently leaned in.
"Don't cry; it makes my heart ache too."
As she raised her hand to wipe away the crimson from the corners of his eyes, a tear fell onto her fingertips.
