The sound of the final whistle echoed as the competition came to an end, and the whole venue erupted with enthusiastic applause and cheers. Jian Chen stood on the stage, his face beaming with the joy of victory. He once again bowed to the audience and judges to express his gratitude, then slowly walked off the stage. After the competition, the audience began to leave, and Xu Yi and Bai Jinxi also followed the crowd out. 0

Xu Yi's mood became unusually complex, and her gaze inadvertently fell on Jian Chen, her thoughts involuntarily drifting into the distance. 0
Those past memories seemed to reappear before her eyes, making her feel both warm and a little painful. Every detail was so clear, as if it had just happened yesterday. 0
"Xu Yi, what are you thinking about?" Bai Jinxi asked softly, noticing Xu Yi's somewhat distant gaze. 0

Xu Yi came to her senses, smiled and shook her head, "It's nothing, let's go back to the dorm." 0
"Okay," Bai Jinxi responded, then gently patted Xu Yi's shoulder. 0
Xu Yi nodded, took a deep breath, and tried to bring her thoughts back to reality. She understood that the past had become memories, and she couldn't indulge in them. 0

Four people walked out of the stadium together, and the sunshine outside was particularly bright, shining on them, giving a warm feeling. However, for Xu Yi, the sunlight was a bit dazzling, causing her to squint. She slightly turned her head to avoid the direct sunlight and continued walking towards the direction of the dormitory. Back in the dorm, Xu Yi's mood was still unsettled. 0

She quietly pushed open the door, shutting out the outside noise, and gently closed the door as if to keep the chaotic thoughts outside as well. Without turning on the light, she went straight to her bed, took off her shoes, and then buried herself in the soft blanket. The dormitory was particularly quiet in the darkness, with only Xu Yi's breathing gently rising and falling. 0

She closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep as quickly as possible. However, the figure of Jian Chen and the memories of the past lingered like a nightmare. She struggled not to think about those things, but her thoughts were like a runaway horse, uncontrollable. After an unknown amount of time, Xu Yi's eyelids began to feel heavy. She felt like she was floating in an endless darkness, her body gradually enveloped by a wave of heat. 0

Chenchen and Yao Lu noticed that Xu Yi seemed a bit off after returning to the dormitory. They exchanged a glance and decided to ask Bai Jinxi about it. 0
"Jinxi, what's wrong with Xu Yi? She looks really troubled," Chenchen asked softly, her voice filled with concern. 0
Bai Jinxi let out a small sigh. She knew that Xu Yi must be feeling a mix of emotions after seeing Jian Chen today. After a moment of contemplation, she decided to tell them. 0

"Xu Yi and Jian Chen have some history, so seeing him again today might have stirred up some emotions for her," Bai Jinxi's voice carried a soft tone of comfort. This was the first time Chenchen and Yao Lu had seen such an expression on Bai Jinxi's face, and they immediately sensed the impact of this on Xu Yi. Yao Lu furrowed her brow, knowing that Xu Yi usually appeared strong, but everyone has a soft spot that's hard to touch. She gently held Bai Jinxi's hand, "Let's not disturb her then, let her have some quiet time. If she needs, we can talk to her later." 0

Bai Jinxi nodded in agreement with Yao Lu's suggestion. They both understood that sometimes giving each other enough space and time is also a silent form of support. 0
