Cai Cheng, upon realizing that the person speaking was Su Siyu, felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him, and he lowered his crossed legs resting on the table. He knew Su Siyu's background; although the Su family had always kept a low profile in the business world, their deep roots were not something he could easily offend.
"Mr. Su, what a rare guest," Cai Cheng said with a teasing tone, trying to ease the awkward atmosphere.
Su Siyu smiled gently, but there was an unusual strength behind it. "If we're talking about rare guests, then Mr. Cai, you are the one. I'm just here to pick up my wife from work and happened to witness such a performance."
As he spoke, he slowly walked into the conference room, his gaze fixed on Cai Cheng.
"Cai Cheng, the Su family may not wish to take another slice of the pie in business, but that doesn’t mean we are without influence."
Yan Yu noticed that the aura surrounding Su Siyu as he spoke was completely different from his usual demeanor. Cai Cheng hadn’t expected that the elegant and refined young master of the Su family could deliver such cutting remarks: "You're merely in a business marriage; what are you pretending about your deep marital bond?"
"Your perspective is quite limited, Cai Cheng. Who says a business marriage cannot have mutual affection? Is it not true that your wife treats you with disdain and scorn?"
Su Siyu's words struck Cai Cheng like arrows.
"You!"
How did Su Siyu know about his family situation and that it was far from harmonious?
Cai Cheng was so furious that he momentarily lost his words. His face turned pale, fists clenched tightly, his eyes flashing with anger and embarrassment. He never expected Su Siyu to retaliate so sharply and hit him where it hurt.
"Show him out," Su Siyu commanded sternly to the two security personnel who had accompanied him.
It wasn't until Cai Cheng was escorted out of the conference room that Yan Yu remained in shock for quite some time.
Was this really the Su Siyu she knew?
"Su Siyu, how did you become like me?"
Yan Yu stepped forward and tugged at the hem of his shirt.

Yan Yu was momentarily speechless at his words, simply nodding obediently.
Su Siyu had once thought that Chi Mu Jiu was his last emotional hurdle, but when the right person appeared, his heart stirred with thoughts entirely different from before.
With Chi Mu Jiu, he had never dared to look up or speak freely. But in front of Yan Yu, he could no longer suppress the cries and impulses within him.
