Yun Li had a habit: whenever he felt unhappy, he would randomly hop on a long-distance bus, sit in the back row, put on his headphones, and watch the scenery outside as the bus followed its route, soaking in the human experiences along the way. 0

These past few days, he had encountered some setbacks at work. After finishing his shift, he felt a bit down and irritable, missing someone special. Suddenly, an unreliable thought crossed his mind, and he decided to act on it. He picked up his phone and booked the earliest high-speed train for the next day. The idea of arriving in his city tomorrow made him feel a little excited! 0

The next day, Yun Li set off on this unknown journey with just his phone and a Polaroid camera. 0

When he arrived, the weather was perfect; the sun was not too strong, and the temperature was just right. Yun Li found the famous Ding Ding Car, which offered a glimpse into the city's culture for just 2 yuan—a relaxing experience he deemed most worthwhile. 0

"Clang, clang, clang," accompanied by the crisp sound of bells, Yun Li sat in the back row of the Ding Ding Car, gazing out at the scenery in a daze. "I wonder what he's doing right now?" A familiar tune played in his ears: "I came to your city, walked the path you took..." 0

He had arrived in his city and saw the places he used to live in, feeling closer to that special someone. For a brief moment, he thought about texting him to say he was in Nanchang. But what could they possibly say if they met? He knew it was wrong to have invited him to Hangzhou that day; yet, he couldn't help himself. 0

"Clang, clang, clang," the Ding Ding Car reached Nanchang's most famous landmark, Tengwang Pavilion. Yun Li joined the crowd as they disembarked and slowly entered the site. As he gazed at this magnificent and beautiful ancient structure, his chaotic and restless heart began to calm down. He took out his Polaroid camera and started capturing memories unique to him. He thought perhaps this person had also been here before; what he saw, touched, and the people he encountered might have crossed paths with him in another time and space. 0

He wandered aimlessly through the city, snapping photos of interesting shops, cute animals, and even a wildflower by the roadside. The emotional turmoil that had been consuming him gradually dissipated with each step he took that afternoon. 0

While wandering around, he often thought of him. Would he appear around some corner? Had he ever eaten at that Nanchang rice noodle shop? Did he also buy that little figurine from a trinket shop? He imagined many scenarios of their potential encounters but realized how vast a city could be; the chances of running into someone you wanted to meet were incredibly slim. 0

His final stop for the day was Nanchang Star. Standing before the Ferris wheel, he recalled an old legend: each compartment of the Ferris wheel was filled with happiness. As it slowly turned, people below became insignificant; it felt like only the Ferris wheel and those beside you existed in that moment. A wish made then might just be heard by a deity. If that deity deemed you a good child, perhaps your wish would come true. 0

He wondered if he counted as a good child. If he made a wish on the Ferris wheel, would anyone truly hear it? 0

As the Ferris wheel reached its highest point, he clasped his hands together and closed his eyes, silently making a wish in hopes that someone might hear his heart's desire. 0

Opening his eyes once more, he gazed down at the city, wondering if any of the buildings in this sprawling landscape was the very place he found himself in. 0

As night fell, Yun Li's journey in Nanchang came to an end. No one knew he had come quietly, and no one knew he was leaving just as silently. Visiting a city, missing someone, or perhaps for a secret admirer, it was an utterly romantic affair. 0

After returning, Yun Li transformed back into that vibrant young man full of energy. Yet, while sorting through the instant photos, he felt as if he had returned to that city filled with the essence of his life. 0

On the back of each instant photo, he wrote down some encouraging words, placed them in a box, packed it up, and sent it to him. There was so much he wanted to say, but so little he could express. Since the identity of DL Yunli wasn’t suitable for accompanying him, he decided to adopt another role—one of a fan who would stand by him and witness his growth. 0

A little surprise: 0
One instant photo captured a Ferris wheel bathed in the glow of sunset, creating a hazy beauty through the interplay of light and shadow. 0
On the back of the photo were a few short lines: 0
Dear Streamer: 0
I was really happy to visit your city for the first time; I even imagined meeting you! 0
Nanchang is beautiful; every bit of its vibrant life reminds me of you. 0
Love grows in warmth, and I will light a lamp for you amidst the crowd. 0
