On the other side, Liu Changlong was deep in thought. After a long while, he suddenly felt a jolt in his heart. He recalled something he had heard from an elder regarding the Chen Family.

Chen Moxuan watched Liu Ruyun, who had fainted, with a disinterested expression. He then glanced at the members of the Chen Family who were kneeling on the ground, feeling speechless at their predicament.

Chen Zhisheng quickly knelt down again and said, "Ancestor, it is my incompetence that has led our family to this state. If you must blame someone, blame me!"

Turning around to face Liu Changlong, he saw that Liu Changlong was currently carrying Liu Ruyun and slowly making his way toward the door.
However, after encountering the drooling Tiger Brother, Liu Changlong found himself unable to move from his spot. At that moment, he was extremely nervous, fearing that a single wrong word from Chen Moxuan could lead to his demise at the hands of the latter.

Startled, Liu Changlong turned to flee but forgot about Tiger Brother blocking the doorway. He collided hard against the massive leg that resembled a stone pillar and bounced back.
Tiger Brother shot a glance at Chen Moxuan, revealing his sharp white teeth. Chen Moxuan understood what Tiger Brother meant. This tiger had a mysterious background and had a penchant for eating people, especially whole.
However, after one incident where Chen Moxuan had voluntarily jumped into his mouth, Tiger Brother had obediently refrained from eating people ever since. Turning back to face Chen Feng, who had just endured an overwhelming aura without backing down in front of Liu Changlong, Chen Moxuan noticed that under such immense pressure, Chen Feng's eyes had already begun to bleed tears.

Hearing this, Chen Feng's heart soared with joy, and even Chen Zhisheng beside him was thrilled and quickly expressed his gratitude.

Chen Moxuan nodded and surveyed the surroundings, feeling quite pleased with the courtyard. Compared to the simple wooden house where his master Shao Lanyin lived, this place could easily be described as luxurious beyond measure.
He waved his hand to signal Chen Zhisheng to step back, preparing to rest properly. After all, although he hadn't walked a single step on this journey, such a long duration had clearly worn him out.
