"Let's wait and see," Su Xing replied casually to Minister Zhou.
She turned to Lu Xiangyi and asked, "Tell me, if I refuse to cooperate, will you, the young lady of the Lu Family, still want to stay here?"
Hehe. I’m just here to represent my father at a dinner; once your conversation is over, I’ll have to report back truthfully!
The implication was clear: if you leave, I will leave too.
Well, if cooperation fails, then I have nothing more to discuss.

Lu Xiangyi hesitated for a moment; the person beside her didn’t seem easy to let go.
He finally spoke softly, "The young lady of the Lu Family is under my care. If you take her away, what will become of me? How will I explain this to her father?"
If something were to happen to the young lady outside, wouldn’t I also bear some responsibility?
Su Xing couldn’t help but snort coldly; staying by his side might be the most dangerous option!

Su Xing was determined to take Lu Xiangyi with her; there was no useful information to be gained here.
Before she knew it, afternoon had arrived; if they delayed any longer, it would soon be dark, and who knows how many ambushes were hidden in these mountains?
However, Zhou Jingquan stood firm and said decisively, "I say no."
Su Xing took a deep breath.
Just as she was about to speak, Han Ruoxi, who had been watching from a distance, suddenly chimed in, "How about I accompany you down the mountain, Su Xing?"
Su Xing almost burst out laughing!
So she finally realized she was in danger and wanted to ask for help!
Yet in this situation, Su Xing didn’t even know if she could make it out safely herself.
Before she could respond, Lu Xiangyi exploded with anger: "Stay put! Who gave you the right to seek help from your rival?"
"Han Ruoxi," she continued fiercely, "the type of woman I despise most is someone like you! Riding on others' coattails while plotting against them!"
Your head may be filled with nonsense, but yours is filled with nothing but rubbish!
"I tell you, don't let me see you next time, or I'll take action myself!"
Su Xing raised an eyebrow and winked at Lu Girl. "When did you start taking gunpowder? Why are you suddenly acting up now?"
Zhang Tianba silently looked up at Han Ruoxi, who seemed momentarily stunned by the scolding. This woman truly lacked combat ability; it was a bit dull without that spark!
He chuckled, "This Lu Family heiress really knows how to chat."
Su Xing couldn't stand being looked at with such disgusting eyes. She stood up and directly grabbed Lu Xiangyi, intending to leave. However, she didn't expect that not only Zhou Jingquan was blocking their way, but Li Li also stood up to stop them.
"What do you mean by this? Are you helping them with their schemes?" Su Xing coldly questioned, her eyes flashing with menace as she stared at Li Li.
"Stop them!"
Li Li's eyes showed a hint of difficulty, but upon hearing Zhang Tianba's command, she felt compelled to step forward and restrain Su Xing.
"Star, don't push me!"
Li Li didn't want to fight her either! But under the circumstances, she had her own reasons for acting this way.
"Ha! You laughed! It seems I've been too soft-hearted lately! You probably forgot what kind of skills I have!"
Su Xing released Lu Xiangyi and immediately confronted Li Li with her fists. "Do you think you can stop me?"
"You have to stop me even if you can't!"
Li Li also took her stance, and soon the two were fighting on the table. Dishes and bowls that had never been touched were sent flying.
Han Ruoxi was so scared she huddled in the corner, trembling. She hadn't expected Su Xing to have such strong combat power. Fortunately, they had hired an international mercenary back then; otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to subdue her at all.
Han Ruoxi couldn't believe that even in such a dire situation, she was still thinking about how to deal with Su Xing.
Lu Xiangyi felt a surge of excitement; her blood was boiling. Although she had learned some martial arts from Su Xing, she hadn't picked up much from her.
The sparring session was heating up, but Lu Xiangyi still couldn't move because there was a tiny camera attached to her ear stud, and someone was watching from the other side of the lens.
Finally, as Li Li struggled against Su Xing, several guards were called in from outside.
"Hey! You guys have no sense of decency!"
"Are you saying that one person can't handle it, so you bring a whole group to fight?" Lu Xiangyi exclaimed indignantly.
Zhou Jingquan's gaze slid over Lu Xiangyi's profile, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "My dear niece, you're with Uncle Zhou now; isn't it a bit biased?"
Zhou Jingquan, a man of high status, posed no threat to Lu Xiangyi. However, she had promised someone not to fall out with him.
"Oh come on, Uncle Zhou, she's just a girl. You should be supporting her," she retorted. "Look at those burly men; they have no idea how to cherish a lady."
Just then, there was a loud thud followed by a crash. Su Xing had knocked one man to the ground while another unexpectedly crashed onto Zhou Jingquan's table.
Zhou Jingquan's suit was splattered with shards of porcelain, yet he remained perfectly composed, not even swaying slightly.
Lu Xiangyi regretted her earlier words; she had underestimated Su Xing's fighting prowess when dealing with men—her strength doubled!
As more and more people gathered outside, Su Xing began to feel overwhelmed. Lu Xiangyi could no longer sit still on her stool. She discreetly activated the signal transmission device on her ring, hoping they would receive it.
Just as she was about to stand up and help, two rows of men in black burst through the door. Their movements were synchronized and powerful, unlike the sneaky thugs trained in the shadows.
In an instant, they dispersed the crowd surrounding Su Xing. Among them, Su Xing caught sight of the distinguished man she recognized.
"He's here," Su Xing whispered softly, almost drowned out by the sounds of the fight. But Shen Jingyu, his eyes fixed on her face, easily read her lips.
He didn't speak but offered her a steady gaze that calmed her in an unspoken way.
"Minister Zhou seems quite interested!" he declared. "You dare to scheme against my fiancée in public?"
Shen Jingyu stepped forward, treading carefully over the scattered porcelain shards as he approached Su Xing. With an effortless motion, he enveloped her in his embrace.
"Didn't I say? If there's anything you need done, just tell someone else. Why go to such lengths? Aren't you worried about hurting our baby?"
Su Xing looked at him incredulously. "What are you talking about? Where would we have a baby? Have you forgotten how pure our relationship is?"
