Zhou Jingquan was furious but managed to steady himself. Since Shen Jingyu was here today, he wanted to see just how capable this young man, who had just taken over the family business, really was.
As Shen Jingyu looked at him, his gaze was filled with disdain. Moreover, he hadn't even begun to settle the score for what Zhou Jingquan had done to Su Xing.

"Zhou Jingquan, today I not only want to take one woman but two. If you have any issues, then stop me."
Upon hearing Shen Jingyu's words, Han Ruoxi was instantly overjoyed. She had just risen from the corner, calling out, "Jing Yu!"
Meanwhile, Shen Jingyu and Su Xing were saying, "Lu Xiangyi, come here!"
"Lu Xiangyi, you’re with me!" Su Xing directly reached out and pulled Lu Xiangyi over.
Originally, Su Xing thought that Shen Jingyu’s two companions truly included Han Ruoxi. She didn’t expect that he would also call for Lu Xiangyi.
This time, Su Xing felt quite satisfied. After all, Shen Jingyu’s friend was Rong Xigu; he probably knew about Lu Xiangyi's relationship with him.

Zhang Tianba raised an eyebrow and looked over. "Miss Han, so you’re quite the flirt as well? With this little act, you're really not shy about having two beautiful women around a man!"
"Why not let me take you out for some fun? Don’t be in such a hurry!"
Shen Jingyu paused for a moment but did not stop. Su Xing felt the grip on her shoulder tighten and then completely refused to let go.
"Su Xing! Su Xing! You have to save me!"
Han Ruoxi cried out, her voice filled with desperation as she called out the name of the one who had shown her a fleeting moment of compassion—Su Xing.
"I was wrong, I was wrong! Please, help me!"
Han Ruoxi was truly terrified of Zhang Tianba. The aggression in his gaze was overwhelming!
Su Xing had a lifelong habit that she could never change: an overflowing sense of compassion.
"Suzie! Don’t be foolish!" Lu Xiangyi warned her in a low voice as she pulled Su Xing back from turning around. "You’ve been tricked by her several times in just a few weeks; don’t be so forgetful!"
"Xiang Yi, don’t joke about life and death over a woman!" Su Xing’s expression turned serious.
Upon receiving her gaze, Shen Jingyu couldn’t help but stop as well.
"What’s wrong with your brain? It’s all just foolishness!"
Just after Lu Xiangyi had criticized Su Xing, she felt Shen Jingyu’s piercing glare directed at her.
"What are you looking at? We’re all in the same boat!"
Lu Xiangyi became annoyed and wasn’t afraid to confront anyone.
Su Xing frowned as she observed Zhang Tianba's determined demeanor. When Han Ruoxi ran toward them, he swiftly grabbed her wrist.
"Zhang, perhaps we might have opportunities to collaborate in the future? I advise you not to make things too tense between us!"
Su Xing's tone was both an inquiry and a warning. After all, she had dealt with Zhou Jingquan without treating him as a significant figure; thus, she didn’t regard Zhang Tianba any differently.
"Su Xing! Help me!" Han Ruoxi continued to plead weakly.
This woman truly lacked any self-defense ability yet had managed to scheme against Su Xing twice.
Lu Xiangyi held nothing but disdain for her.
"Shut up, you poisonous woman!"
Han Ruoxi retorted, "You're just a gossiping shrew!"
Lu Xiangyi shot her a glare. "Oh! So you're not saving her anymore!"
Su Xing interjected, "Are you even my sister now?"
With a helpless pinch of her brow, Su Xing casually advised the furious Lu Xiangyi, "You don't know the situation, so keep your comments to yourself! You brought her here today, but can you protect her every day in the future?"
"She? She doesn't lack for protection. She can summon the third-ranked assassin from the global Assassin List to kidnap me; she can rally international fugitives to assassinate me. Do you think she's some kind-hearted person? Or do you think she's weak enough?"
Su Xing's words left Han Ruoxi feeling guilty. Yet at that moment, she still believed she was in the right!
Zhang Tianba licked his lips faintly and cast a fierce glance at Han Ruoxi beside him. Finally, he released her wrist as she grimaced in pain.
Han Ruoxi hurried over to Shen Jingyu's side.
Su Xing was pushed aside by Shen Jingyu, who blocked her from getting too close.
Deep down, Su Xing wanted to punch herself a few times. Why did she bother saving such a scheming woman?!
Inside the room, chaos reigned, with only the Minister Zhou's men remaining, along with Zhang Tianba and the somewhat frightened Li Li.
" Minister Zhou, your reputation is really low," someone remarked. "So, what will you tell that person today?"
Zhou Jingquan snorted coldly, filled with hatred as he stood up and headed for the top floor of the building.
The others—one man and three women—exited without saying a word.
Su Xing then noticed that outside, there were suddenly more than ten cars parked.
Shen Jingyu certainly had quite the entourage! There were at least twenty bodyguards following behind.
Just as Su Xing was about to get into her own car, Shen Jingyu pulled her and shoved her into the passenger seat.
"Hey, Xiang Yi! Come with me!" Su Xing shouted back at Lu Xiangyi, who was still standing far away with her arms crossed, glaring angrily at Han Ruoxi.
It was truly childish—like kindergarten kids fighting!
