Su Xing finally encountered Lu Xiangyi after changing into her formal attire.
"Why do we, the two hosts, have to wait outside until we enter the venue with them?" Lu Xiangyi gazed at the elegant Su Xing from a distance, as if suddenly realizing their own identities.
Su Xing looked at the man beside her, dressed in a sleek black velvet suit, and then at the man across from them, who was impeccably suited to match the princess style. They all looked quite impressive! Yet, none of them were acting like proper hosts!
"Girl, I can't respond to that!" Su Xing replied. "But he could quietly pull Lu Xiangyi away so we can sneak in together! Otherwise, by tonight, Mu Beiyao will definitely devour us both!"
With that, Su Xing grabbed Lu Xiangyi and lightly nodded at Rong Xigu as a form of greeting. Ignoring Shen Jingyu's ambiguous smile behind them, she pulled Lu Xiangyi down the elevator.
"Why are you here too? Could it be that Rong Xigu has shares in this place? Isn't he a soldier?" Su Xing couldn't help but chat with Lu Xiangyi.
"He said he has an office here," Lu Xiangyi replied.
"This floor has five offices, each with its own secretary," he added.
Upon hearing this, Lu Xiangyi began to notice some unusual undertones. It seemed he had been led around by that man without having the chance to ask about his identity or why he had an office there.
"So that's how it is," Su Xing said with a mysterious smile. "Turns out they have secrets too!"
Su Xing realized that Shen Jingyu was better at hiding things than she was!
Wearing formal attire was simpler for Su Xing than for Lu Xiangyi; although both were equally luxurious, they faced a dilemma in front of the parking lot.
"My skirt is adorned with diamonds; getting into a car is going to be a problem. How do I drive?"
"My skirt is a mermaid style; will it affect my ability to hit the brakes?" Su Xing pondered aloud. "These two men must be doing this on purpose!"
They didn’t rush to share an elevator with them and took their time before finally stepping out a few minutes later.
Each of them wore expressions that were both amused and enigmatic! Each had brought their own woman along! "See you later!" Rong Xigu was in high spirits lately!
Even his usually meticulous demeanor was often graced with a hint of laughter.
Shen Jingyu held Su Xing close as he brought two drivers down from above—his two secretaries—who promptly took their places in the driver’s seats of two luxurious cars: a Cullinan and a Ghost, adding an air of prestige to their entrance.
However, they hadn’t anticipated that the venue would be filled with so many big names.
Starting from two o'clock in the afternoon, the preparations on-site were to be handled by Zheng Ying and Randy, while Tang Feng was responsible for coordinating the efforts. The external arrangements were entirely in his hands. Mu Beiming's assistant was already accustomed to working for both companies, so some members of Kunpeng Group arrived even earlier than the three female partners.
It was evident to everyone that this annual meeting was primarily organized by Kunpeng Group for the Starry Convergence brand. As the event continued to improve, most people were unwilling to miss out on this opportunity.
By the time Su Xing and his group arrived, it was nearly four o'clock, and more attendees were showing up. In addition to employees, there were high-end clients and those aspiring to become brand customers.
Su Xingju recalled the auction that Shen Jingyu had wanted to organize, which had a collaboration with his own brand. Thus, the annual meeting that night was quite complex.
Were they being a bit inconsiderate? With such a grand event and so much busyness, leaving everything to Mu Beiyao alone made Su Xing feel somewhat guilty.
However, Lu Xiangyi waved his hand grandly and confidently said, "Don't worry! I've sent someone to help him! A versatile talent! Who knows, there might even be unexpected gains!"
"Huh?" A look of confusion appeared on Su Xing's delicate face. "Aren't there just three assistants here? What more could you possibly have? After all these years of running around, how can I not trust you?!"
The Lu family was well-known; Xiang Yi's elder brother was the current head of Lu Group. He was adept in both social settings and domestic affairs, appearing fierce yet reserved.
Just think about it—can these two really handle it? Lu Xiangyi always spared no effort in promoting his brother!
Standing outside the venue with Lu Xiangyi without having entered yet, Su Xing spotted Mu Beiyao indeed gesticulating animatedly while talking to President Lu from a distance.

Lu Xiangyi rubbed his thumb against his nose with satisfaction. "When it comes to playing my brother's game, I'm quite skilled!"

Although Lu Xiangyi was regarded as the Little Princess at home, Brother Han had quite a broad influence. Over the years, Lu Xiangyi had refrained from dating properly for Rong Xigu's sake; even during holidays, she stayed away from home for him.

Now that he saw Rong Xigu, he must have looked like a storm brewing; over the years, Rong Xigu had certainly endured plenty of torment from Brother Han.
Lu Xiangyi harbored some resentment but naturally supported her brother. However, with Rong Xigu's arrival and presence, all her schemes and calculations seemed futile; she couldn't stay angry at him and felt her heart come alive again.
Deep down, Lu Xiangyi still hoped that one day when enough time had passed and they had quarreled enough, she could share laughter and joy with Rong Xigu while living their lives together.
After all, they were family. Lu Xiangyi was still very willing to pave a smooth and prosperous path for her future husband.
Su Xing carefully observed the two people not far away and said cryptically, "Not necessarily."
Lu Xiangyi imagined a good life, a fairy-like existence, but it wasn’t guaranteed to belong to her.
The two of them watched the lively scene for quite a while. Finally, a woman in a sea-blue dress breezed up behind them.
"Hey, ladies! The bandits are back together; let the fun begin! Let’s drag your men out for a stroll!"
The speaker's voice always carried an official tone, yet in front of their little group, she was completely unreserved and carefree.
"Xiao Bingbing! Let’s see what you’ve got first!" Lu Xiangyi and Su Xing chimed in together as the three sisters embraced warmly.
The three of them were dressed in completely different styles, yet there was no sense of discord among them.
"Let’s just enjoy the show for now!" Mu Beiyao remarked, the strong woman seemingly also facing her own challenges.
Qin Bing, with her keen eyes, quickly picked up on some subtle signs of trouble brewing.
