Outside the main gate, the headlights of the car illuminated the road, and beside it stood a tall man.
"How did you get here?" Shen Tian Er exclaimed as she jumped out of the car without even turning off the engine, rushing out of the gate!
The security personnel saw it was the young lady coming out and didn’t say much. They glanced at the man and pretended not to see him. Would they get fired for this?
Shen Tian Er was no longer concerned about anything else; she ran over without hesitation and threw herself into his slightly open arms.
After missing someone all night, when he suddenly appeared before her, her heart surged with affection.

Shen Tian Er felt a bit shy being held by him; it made her feel like a spoiled child.
"I called you first, but you didn't answer," Shen Tian Er said with a hint of accusation in her tone.
Mu Beiming raised an eyebrow. "So you decided to punish me by not answering my calls? Or did you put on a show of being abandoned and then hide away from your phone?"
Shen Tian Er had to admit that this man was quite perceptive! He had basically pinpointed her situation perfectly.
Just earlier, sitting at her vanity, her mind had been a mess. She couldn’t help but wonder if he regretted what happened after today’s events.
Being a generous girl, she asked him directly, "So do you really mean what you said? Are you sure today wasn't just an impulsive moment?"
