The three of them chatted for a few more moments before entering the dormitory building.
To the right on the first floor was the stairwell, while the first room to the left by the main entrance was the dormitory administrator's duty room.
On the day of the incident, elder Ma had been in the duty room the entire time.
Through the glass window of the duty room, he could clearly observe the comings and goings of various people.
Unfortunately, it seemed that elder Ma had started dozing off around 7:20 PM and did not wake up until Feng Zitian came to call him after the incident.
During that time, he had no idea who had entered or how many people had come in.
Xiao Wentai listened intently to Feng Zitian's account while squinting in thought. Suddenly, he asked, "Aren't there any surveillance cameras installed in the hallways on each floor?"
"No! If there were, this case would have probably been solved already!" Feng Zitian replied.
"Running from the seventh floor to the first floor shouldn't take much time, right?"
"Yeah, it wouldn't take even a minute. A round trip would only take a little over a minute at most."
Xiao Wentai nodded and said, "It's indeed incredible that the murderer could move Sun Lang's body from one room to another in such a short amount of time and also create a locked room scenario!"
Fang Keyu suddenly interjected, "The deceased seems to have been quite a hefty person; moving his body would require someone strong!"
Xiao Wentai looked at Feng Zitian's physique, shook his head, and said, "Well then, your suspicion is cleared!"
Feng Zitian's expression turned somewhat awkward as he suddenly became serious. "Actually, I had a premonition about his death long ago..."
"Alright, that's enough!" Xiao Wentai waved his hand and said, "This is just a coincidence! Do you really think it's some kind of prophecy or superpower?"
Xiao Wentai certainly understood Feng Zitian; this was the same Feng Zitian who claimed to have seen aliens since childhood and boasted about having superpowers. However, aside from his parents who regarded him as a genius, everyone else believed he suffered from various psychological disorders.
As they spoke, they had already reached the door of dormitory 715.
Xiao Wentai glanced around and muttered to himself, "The stairwell isn't far from this dormitory. It seems the murderer had time to hide on the sixth or fifth floor after moving the body and before luring Feng Zitian and the dorm supervisor here..."
He continued to mumble a stream of thoughts that Fang Keyu found hard to follow.
Feng Zitian knocked on the door, and it creaked open with a soft sound.
Xiao Wentai was immediately taken aback as a beautiful girl with a fresh and elegant face appeared before him.
This girl looked like a student as well, but her refined demeanor exuded an extraordinary aura.
What was even more surprising was that Fang Keyu exclaimed, "Sister! What... what are you doing here?"
Feng Zitian suddenly said, "So you two know each other!"
Xiao Wentai quietly asked Feng Zitian, "Who is this beautiful woman?"
Feng Zitian replied, "Her name is Fang Kehui, and she is the vice president of our school's Reasoning Association. She came here specifically to investigate a case! She's quite annoying! It seems she really is Fang Keyu's younger sister."
Xiao Wentai wondered to himself: Why hasn't that guy Fang Keyu ever mentioned her?
It turns out this guy has such a beautiful sister!
As a few of them entered the room, they noticed that besides Fang Kehui, there was also a tall boy with a sullen face.
This person was Ran Wei, and Xiao Wentai had already guessed it to some extent.
Then he took note of the dormitory door; it was a double wooden door painted with a layer of yellow paint.
Xiao Wentai's mind lit up; he was starting to piece things together.
