On the bustling streets of the town, Leon, dressed in a simple yet dignified robe, was weaving through the crowd alongside Alex. 0

His keen eyes observed everything around him, trying to find a point of entry for collaboration among the various factions in this complex marketplace. 0

The shops lining the street were filled with a dazzling array of goods, and the sounds of haggling and calls from vendors blended together to create a lively scene. 0

Suddenly, Leon halted abruptly, his gaze fixed on a figure not far ahead. 0

The silhouette seemed familiar, causing his heart to race. Alex noticed Leon's unusual behavior and followed his gaze but saw nothing particularly noteworthy. 0

"My lord, what’s wrong?" Alex asked softly. 0

Leon did not respond immediately; a complex mix of emotions flickered in his eyes—surprise, confusion, and an indescribable joy. He slowly moved forward, each step tentative as if fearing that everything before him was merely an illusion. 0

As he drew closer, Leon finally recognized the person's face. "Theodore!" he exclaimed, unable to contain himself, his voice trembling slightly. 0

The man known as Theodore turned slowly at the sound. A look of surprise flashed across his eyes, quickly replaced by joy. "Leon? Is it really you?" Theodore rushed forward and grasped Leon's hands tightly, his face beaming with excitement. 0

Leon gazed at Theodore's familiar features, feeling a wave of nostalgia wash over him. Theodore had been his closest friend in childhood; they had played together in their family courtyard and learned swordsmanship and military strategy side by side. Those cherished memories felt like they were just yesterday. However, due to family upheavals and their individual growths, they had gradually lost touch. 0

"Theodore, it's been so long. I never expected to run into you here," Leon said joyfully as he examined Theodore closely. He noticed a hint of weariness in Theodore's eyes, yet his sincerity and warmth remained unchanged. 0

"I didn't expect it either. Ever since you disappeared, I've been searching for news about you. Everyone thought you..." Theodore's voice suddenly choked up, tears glistening in his eyes. 0

Leon gently patted Theodore's shoulder and comforted him, "It's alright. Look at me, I'm doing fine. How have you been all these years?" 0

Theodore sighed softly and replied, "It's hard to put into words. The family business has faced significant challenges, and I've been working tirelessly to keep it afloat. But seeing you safe and sound makes it all worthwhile." 0

The two stood by the street, lost in conversation as if no one else were around. Leon shared his experiences from the past years, recounting how he was rescued by Alice and Oliver after being injured, to the various battles and challenges he faced upon returning to his family. Theodore listened intently, occasionally expressing surprise and admiration. 0

"I had no idea you went through so much. But I'm truly proud of you for being able to pick yourself up and lead the family towards revival," Theodore said sincerely. 0

Leon offered a faint smile, "The road to revival is still long, filled with hardships and challenges. I came here seeking cooperation from various factions to jointly fend off external threats and restore our family's reputation." 0

Upon hearing this, a flicker of hesitation crossed Theodore's eyes. Leon keenly noticed this subtle change and asked, "What's wrong? Theodore, do you have some difficulties?" 0

After a brief silence, Theodore admitted, "To be honest, there are some conflicts between the Lord of this town and my family. I'm worried that my identity might bring you trouble." 0

Leon frowned slightly, contemplating for a moment before saying, "Theodore, we have been close friends for many years and have faced so many difficulties together. Now that I'm in trouble, are you really going to stand aside?" 0

Theodore looked into Leon's determined eyes and felt warmth in his heart. "Of course not. If you're saying that, how could I back down? No matter what happens, I will support you wholeheartedly." 0

Leon nodded with satisfaction. "With your words, I feel reassured. I believe that as long as we work together, we can overcome any obstacles." 0

In that moment, Leon felt as if he had returned to his childhood days when he fought side by side with Theodore. 0

That pure and profound friendship brought him a sense of warmth and strength in this unfamiliar and challenging town. 0
