As the sun set in the west, the sky transformed into a gradient of orange and violet hues. The city’s bustling life was shrouded in a veil of golden mist, creating a breathtaking scene.
In such a poetic dusk, Xu Nancheng and Lin Menghan sat side by side in one of the small cabins of the Ferris wheel, about to embark on a special journey.
The Ferris wheel turned slowly, lifting them higher and higher as the cityscape unfolded beneath them. Skyscrapers, busy streets, and throngs of people gradually became small and distant; their figures drew closer together.
As they ascended further into the sky, the sunset's glow became even more brilliant, bathing the cabin in a warm orange light that illuminated their faces and created an indescribable romantic atmosphere.
When the Ferris wheel finally reached its highest point, time seemed to stand still. Lin Menghan nestled against Xu Nancheng’s chest and looked up at him. In his eyes sparkled countless stars—evidence of their love.
Xu Nancheng lowered his head gently to gaze at her cheek and softly replied, “Menghan,” his eyes filled with tenderness.
Their gazes met as if they could see the desires deep within each other's souls. The air was thick with sweetness and the rhythm of quickened heartbeats; everything felt so natural without any pretense or artifice.
In this perfect setting, Xu Nancheng leaned forward while Lin Menghan instinctively moved closer. He brushed his fingers through her hair and looked at her rosy lips. Swallowing hard, he realized he no longer wanted to hold back; kissing her felt like a normal thing for couples.
Without hesitation, he kissed Lin Menghan's lips. They didn't move, simply pressing their lips together, feeling each other's presence. Just as Xu Nancheng had imagined, her lips were indeed soft! He didn't want to part for even a moment, and of course, Lin Menghan felt the same way.
In that instant, all worries and concerns vanished, leaving only the existence of each other and a pure sense of happiness. After a long while, they slowly pulled away but remained in each other's embrace.
At that moment, Lin Menghan felt an overwhelming sense of joy, almost to the point of tears. Nancheng, I really like you! She thought that no amount of words could express the excitement and love she felt inside.
I feel the same way, Lin Menghan; I truly like you! Xu Nancheng felt that no words could capture his feelings either.
And so, they kissed once more, feeling that no kiss was ever enough! They held each other tighter and tighter!
As the Ferris wheel slowly descended, Xu Nancheng and Lin Menghan lost count of how many times they had kissed. It wasn't until they reached the ground that they reluctantly parted, gazing at each other with smiles full of happiness.
Hand in hand, they walked out. Lin Menghan's cheeks flushed as she exclaimed, "Nancheng, that was beautiful!"
Xu Nancheng gently ruffled Lin Menghan's hair and placed a soft kiss on her head. "Yes, the sunset was lovely, but you are even more beautiful!"
Hearing this made Lin Menghan shy, yet at that moment, happiness and satisfaction filled her heart.
