Although Xu Shen was still unclear about what those expressions on the manager's face truly meant or represented, he couldn't shake off a vague sense of foreboding. He hadn't fully grasped the situation, but he was certain it wasn't a good sign. This was the only reasonable explanation he could give himself at that moment. 0

"Stop worrying about him," he said. "Just look at how effortlessly he drives; it shows he should be fine. I suspect he just had low blood sugar and has probably already gotten some sugar to boost him. After all, he's an important figure and might not want us getting too close. If we take him to the hospital, there might be reporters swarming the place, and that could get really messy. We can't understand the world of the wealthy like they do. As small employees like us, we should focus on our own matters. Otherwise, if we meddle too much, we might end up in a situation where even our jobs are at stake!" 0

Xu Shen felt conflicted saying these words, but he feared that Li Yingxue would continue to worry, so he spoke to help her relax a bit. However, deep down, he knew that what he had just said was hard for him to believe. 0

Unexpectedly, as soon as he finished speaking, a voice chimed in—innocent and naive. "That's good then; I’ll trust what you say..." 0

At those words, Xu Shen's mind went blank, his expression turning into one of disbelief. He suddenly thought to himself, "Sometimes I really can't tell if this girl is foolish or just naive. Can she really be convinced by such reasoning? Does she actually believe it?" 0

"Right! Just trust me; he will definitely be fine because it's his own body—how could he not take care of it? Besides, no one knows himself better than he does. But you shouldn't worry too much about him; the gossip in the company can be deadly. I think his rejection of us might be related to those rumors circulating around. So let's keep our distance from him from now on." 0

Xu Shen nodded in agreement again. "How did I not notice this before? But now that you mention it, I recall that many people in the company thought I was getting too close to Manager Li and assumed we had some sort of intimate relationship. Honestly, those were just baseless rumors; I never developed anything with Manager Li. Do you think it's wrong to care about your leader and superior? We're fighting together in the same company; we should treat each other like family. Isn't caring for family what we're supposed to do? What's wrong with my actions?" 0
