In the early morning, the first rays of sunlight slowly spread across the desolate forest, creating a mysterious and dark atmosphere with a cold mist lingering among the treetops. Avira and Caspar emerged from the bay and entered this ancient forest, where tall trees and dense foliage allowed only scattered sunlight to filter through the cracks.
Avira scanned her surroundings, her eyes shining with vigilance. She was dressed in a dark blue and white gown, standing out conspicuously in the forest. Caspar stood beside her, with his golden hair and blue eyes, exceptionally handsome, but appearing somewhat uneasy in this unfamiliar land.
"The forest looks a bit eerie," Avira said softly, a hint of mockery in her smile. "We need to stay alert."
Caspar nodded, a wild glint in his eyes, as if ready to respond to any sudden situation. They moved forward slowly, with cautious steps, accompanied by the sound of the wind in the woods and distant bird calls.
Suddenly, a group of goblins leaped out from the surrounding trees, their sharp screeches echoing through the forest. These goblins were small in stature, with gray-green skin and eyes that gleamed with malevolence. They brandished sharp short blades and charged straight at Avira and Caspar.
Caspar immediately assumed a fighting stance, but he seemed unfamiliar with combat on land. He wielded his weapon clumsily, and in the face of the goblins' cunning attacks, he appeared somewhat awkward.
Avira remained calm and quickly stepped back, avoiding the goblin's attacks while seeking opportunities to counter. Her eyes shimmered with determination, as if calculating the optimal timing for each move.
In the dark forest, Avira moved gracefully among the goblins, displaying her composure and wit with every action. Her steps were light, almost like a dance, as the battle intensified. Dodging the goblins' blades, Avira continued to seek chances to strike back. Her movements were agile and precise, each evasion a hair-raising feat.
Just as a goblin wielding a sharp blade charged towards her, a figure swept by like the wind and repelled the goblin. His golden hair shimmered in the sunlight, his face carried a melancholic expression, yet his eyes held a resolute gleam.
He was Avira's long-lost companion, Sleeping Beauty Loren. His face still bore a casual smile and imperceptible fatigue, but his gaze was keen.
Loren shouted, "Avira!" He quickly rushed to her side, protecting her behind him. His movements were swift and graceful, and his long sword moved like lightning among the goblins, each strike precise.
The goblins fell one by one under Loren's attack, their screams gradually fading into the depths of the forest. Loren turned around and embraced Avira tightly, a hint of joy on his face. "Finally found you, Avira."
Avira hugged Loren and her eyes sparkled with excitement: "Loren, how did you end up here?"
However, this heartwarming moment was quickly shattered by Caspar's rage. A flash of fury crossed Caspar's face, his eyes dark and his claws gleaming, as he displayed his threat to Loren. His tall and elegant figure, with golden scales shimmering in the sunlight, exuded a strong sense of possession.
"Who are you? Why do you covet my treasure?" Caspar's voice was filled with strong jealousy and anger.
Loren released Avira and turned to Caspar, looking wary. "I am Loren, Avira's companion. I am not here to take your treasure. I am only here to find Avira."
Caspar's eyes became even more wild, his body tense, as if he could attack at any moment. His beauty seemed even more striking in this rage, like a cornered beast.
Avira felt a headache coming on as she paced between the two, trying to calm the conflict. There was a hint of humor in her voice as she said, "Alright, alright, both of you calm down. Caspar, Loren is just here to help me. He's an ally, not an enemy."
Caspar flashed a hint of struggle in his eyes, slowly retracting his claws but still keeping a wary eye on Loren. Loren, on the other hand, looked at Caspar with sharp eyes, seemingly trying to understand his behavior.
Avira walked up to Caspar and said softly, " Caspar, I know you're worried about me, but Loren is my friend. He won't hurt me."
Caspar's eyes gradually lost their madness, and he nodded silently, still maintaining a certain distance from Loren. Loren then smiled gently, with a hint of weariness in his smile.
The three continued on, leaving the forest. The relationship between Caspar and Loren remained tense and delicate, with mutual hostility and distrust entwined like dark vines in the forest.
After a long journey, they arrived in front of a sinister and twisted candy house. The house seemed to be built with various candies and sweets, but its appearance exuded an ominous atmosphere. The colors of the candies were dark, and the icing dripped like blood, giving off a strange and foul sweet smell.
Avira wrinkled her nose, her gaze vigilantly scanning around the house. "This place... something feels off about it."
Caspar's face turned serious, his eyes scanning the surroundings as if searching for potential danger. Meanwhile, Loren seemed curious about the candy house, walking forward and gently touching the frosting on the outer wall.
Suddenly, the door of the candy house slowly opened, and a distorted image of an old woman emerged. A strange smile hung on her face, and her eyes sparkled with cunning. "Welcome to my candy house, children."
Avira held the hem of her skirt tightly, with a smirk on her face as if she wanted to complain: "It seems like we've fallen into some kind of trap."
Caspar stood closely beside Avira, his eyes filled with vigilance. Meanwhile, Loren took a step back, wearing a look of distrust on his face.
The old woman smiled even more strangely, her voice sharp and piercing: "Come, children, I have the most delicious candies and the sweetest desserts here."
Avira shook her head, her voice calm and firm: "We don't need candies, we are just passing by."
The old woman's expression suddenly turned fierce, and she reached out her thin, bony hand, pointing at the three of them: "In that case, stay and be my guests, forever guests."
In front of this eerie, twisted candy house, the atmosphere became tense and eerie. Avira, Caspar, and Loren faced the distorted image of the old woman, their bodies tensed, ready to respond to any potential danger.
The old woman's sinister expression and her sharp, piercing voice made the whole scene even more eerie. "Forever guests?" Avira raised a sarcastic smile, her voice calm and firm: "We didn't plan on staying."
Caspar's face turned serious, his eyes flashing with vigilance. He clenched his fists, his claws faintly revealed. He approached Avira and whispered, "Be careful, Avira, this old woman is not simple."
Loren seemed much more relaxed, saying nonchalantly, "This kind of old trick is really outdated." But his eyes concealed a sharp alertness.
Suddenly, the old lady let out a scream, and countless sharp candy blades flew out from her sleeve, heading straight for the three of them. Avira quickly dodged, her figure agilely maneuvering in the air, skillfully avoiding the flying candy blades.
Caspar pounced towards the old lady, his claws gleaming with a cold light. Each of his attacks was filled with power, but the old lady's astonishing speed and agility allowed her to easily evade them.
Loren swung his long sword with elegant and precise movements, knocking down the flying candy blades one by one. His eyes shimmered with a calm light, and each swing of his sword was as perfect as a work of art.
Monsters emerged from all around the room, their eyes gleaming with evil as they roared and lunged towards the three of them.
Caspar immediately tightened his grip on his weapon, his body tense. Loren also drew his longsword, his eyes flashing with a calm determination.
Avira took a few steps back, her eyes sharp and alert. She quickly analyzed the surrounding environment, searching for an opportunity to escape.
The battle erupted, Caspar and Loren engaging in fierce combat with the monsters. Caspar moved swiftly and powerfully, each of his strikes filled with a brutal elegance. Loren, on the other hand, displayed more grace, his long sword drawing exquisite arcs in the air as he repelled wave after wave of monsters.
Avira is providing support on the side, her movements agile as she launches surprise attacks on the monsters from time to time, and assists Caspar and Loren in dealing with more enemies.
At that moment, the old woman unleashed her ultimate spell, causing the entire candy house to twist and deform. The giant candies and sweets turned into fire-breathing monsters, roaring at the three of them.
Caspar, Loren, and Avira stood back to back, facing attacks from all directions. It seemed that in this dark world, they were each other's only reliance.
A glint of light flashed in Avira's eyes as she quickly analyzed the situation, searching for a breakthrough. "Caspar, Loren, we need to find that old witch. Only by defeating her can we escape this predicament."
Caspar and Loren nodded in agreement, and under Avira's leadership, they crossed the battlefield and launched the final attack on the old witch.
After a fierce battle, they finally defeated the old witch and lifted the curse on the candy house. As the old witch fell, the entire candy house began to collapse, turning into ashes.
Three people stood wearily in place, looking back at the traces left by the battle. A faint smile appeared on Avira's face as she softly said, "It seems we have once again survived a crisis."
Caspar and Loren locked eyes, still showing hostility but also mixed with a hint of respect for the strong.
