Suddenly, the world spun around her as Xing Qin swiftly deflected her blade and pinned Yushan down onto the yellow sand.
What? This change came too abruptly!
The situation had reversed; one moment she was filled with elation, and the next she found herself at his mercy. Would she be killed? Was there still time to plead for her life?
To her surprise, Xing Qin unexpectedly lifted her up, carrying her on his back. Holding his breath and gathering his strength, he leaped into the air and began sprinting eastward, muttering to himself, “If I use lightness skills, I should be able to cross the desert before nightfall…”
