Li Yingxue's eyes were filled with affirmation, and she felt satisfied upon seeing such expressions. She nodded, realizing that everyone present was indeed quite pleasing to her. Contrary to her expectations, she had thought that such an environment would be filled with scenes she did not wish to see. However, it turned out that the entire industry was very clean, and there were no distasteful images to be found.
If this was the case, she felt that attending such social gatherings a few more times would be worthwhile. Of course, this was only possible under certain circumstances. If it weren't for her work obligations and the introduction from a friend, she likely would not have had the opportunity to participate in such an event. Given her job position, reaching this level would have been impossible without support.
Thanks to her friend's recommendation and her diligent work ethic, she found herself attending today's event. It truly opened her eyes to many people she had never encountered before and experiences she had never known. Now that she had seen all of this, it significantly broadened her horizons and made her realize how much she had yet to explore.
After truly engaging with these new experiences, she discovered just how limited her previous perspective had been.
As the guests began to enjoy the food on the table, it was undeniable that everything looked delicious in this setting, featuring many dishes she had never tasted before. After all, today’s event was no ordinary gathering. The food served was not only appetizing but also quite expensive, making it a perfect opportunity to indulge.
As she noticed that most of the food had already been consumed, Li Yingxue suddenly remembered something important and hurriedly left the room. While she was enjoying the atmosphere, there was still a significant matter on her mind that she could not overlook, especially since it seemed to be later than usual today.
Li Yingxue stepped into a secluded corner of the venue where she ensured no one would disturb her. She took out her phone from her clothing and skillfully dialed a number, a smile spreading across her face as anticipation filled her.
It seemed that this call brought her a sense of relaxation that only came when she reached out like this. Soon enough, the call connected on the other end.
The smile on Li Yingxue's face grew even brighter than before as excitement bubbled within her at the prospect of this conversation. As soon as the call was answered, she spoke in an eager tone, "I’m sorry for calling you so late; I hope I’m not disturbing your rest. But according to my estimates, the child should still be awake at this hour."
She continued, "That’s why I dared to make this call. I have some other matters to attend to today, so I might be a little late returning home. I’ll try my best to come back earlier tomorrow and won’t disturb your rest so late."
