Back on his own territory, Lu Tianyang felt as if he had everything in his favor—timing, location, and the right people. If he didn’t take the opportunity to indulge himself after such a long period of restraint, it would be a disservice to himself.
Ye Ya had psychological barriers; she felt that engaging in such activities here, especially during the day, was something she simply couldn’t accept.

“Fool, there’s no need to say sorry. I was too eager,” Lu Tianyang said with a chuckle. Hearing her apologize for this was ridiculous; how could someone be so naive?
He couldn’t help but smile as he pulled her into his embrace. “Xiao Ya, how about we wait until we’re married?”
“Okay.” Ye Ya instinctively agreed but immediately regretted it. She pulled away from him and looked at him sternly. “No, I haven’t agreed to marry you yet. You made that decision unilaterally without even proposing.”
Lu Tianyang laughed even more joyfully and gently pinched her cheek. “Xiao Ya, you’re so cute. Are you hinting that I should propose to you soon?”
“Not at all! You scoundrel! Lu Tianyang, have you always been this despicable? How many girlfriends have you had?” Perhaps because of her newfound thoughts about marriage, Ye Ya’s mindset became somewhat petty; she even started to care about his past relationships.
Lu Tianyang thought seriously for a moment; he didn’t plan to lie to her. “Just one. We dated in college, but we broke up when I went abroad.”
“Really? Just one? I don’t believe you! You have so many rumors surrounding you.” A man like Lu Tianyang having only one girlfriend? Who would believe that?
“Really! What about you?” Lu Tianyang felt it was unfair that he had to answer while she didn’t.
Ye Ya frowned and began counting on her fingers. Watching her expression made Lu Tianyang angry. “Ye Ya, how many have you actually dated? Can you count them properly?”
“It's over, Lu Tianyang. There are too many; I can't keep track. Why don't you help me count? Three from middle school, seven from high school, and then university...” Before she could finish, she noticed the man's face darkening like the bottom of a pot.
“That's enough, Ye Ya. No more counting. From now on, you’re not allowed to look at any other men, do you hear me?” He was furious, completely enraged. Three from middle school was already too much, and those bastards had the audacity to touch the seedlings of the nation at such a young age. It was simply outrageous.
Seeing his expression, Ye Ya clutched her stomach and rolled on the bed with laughter. Lu Tianyang raised an eyebrow, watching this woman laugh uncontrollably. She had really gained some courage to joke with him.

“You dare to tease me?” Lu Tianyang pulled her up from the bed, feeling playful. He decided to show her a little color. To his surprise, he discovered that this woman was ticklish. He thought to himself: Finally found her weakness.
Ye Ya laughed so hard that her stomach hurt, but Lu Tianyang wasn’t ready to let her off the hook just yet. “No more, no more! Ahahaha!”
“Do you still not realize your mistake?” Lu Tianyang looked at her like a king. If she dared to say anything defiant, he would continue to give her a show.
“I won’t dare anymore! Please stop! Hahaha!” Ye Ya laughed until she was gasping for breath. Only then did Lu Tianyang finally let her go. After a while, Ye Ya managed to stop laughing and got up from the bed, her hair slightly disheveled.
“Lu Tianyang, you’re so sneaky!” Ye Ya thought this man was not only shameless but also incredibly cunning for using such tactics against her.
“Mrs. Lu, would I be able to win you over without being sneaky? Alright, I won’t tease you anymore. Are you hungry? I’ll have the servants prepare something to eat.” Now at Yiju Mountain Villa, it was different from Ye Ya’s home; there was plenty of space here and more servants available. Lu Tianyang really didn’t want Ye Ya to work so hard anymore.
“Bastard! I’m starving!” Ye Ya replied without holding back. She had been spoiled like this every day lately and felt the weight around her waist. It was tough; she couldn’t wear any of her old clothes anymore and would need Tao Momo to have some new ones made for her.
“It’s fine; I’ll still want you no matter how much weight you gain.” After saying that, the man even pinched the flesh on her cheek playfully.
Ye Ya looked around the spacious room; it was not just the master bedroom, but even the adjoining study was significantly larger than her own room. If she were to marry Lu Tianyang, today’s challenges were merely a drizzle compared to the stormy road ahead. She thought that if Lu Tianyang walked alongside her, perhaps this journey would not be as difficult as she imagined.
When Lu Tianyang returned today, he immediately turned off his phone, allowing Zuo Kai to handle everything on his behalf. The stock price of the Lu Family was not in freefall yet, and besides, if his father truly reclaimed management rights, he had no objections. After all, he was the only son in the Lu Family.
Supporting Ye Ya and Chen Chen was no problem for him as a man. However, he knew that his actions would undoubtedly infuriate his parents. As their son, he felt somewhat unfilial in this regard, but he believed they would eventually accept Ye Ya because she was a good woman who deserved it.

“Lu Tianyang, push me,” she called out as she sat down on the swing. She didn’t realize when it had started, but it seemed she had grown accustomed to Lu Tianyang’s presence. He was no longer just a lofty heir in her eyes. She could joke with him and even vent her frustrations on him when angry; Lu Tianyang had quietly seeped into her life.
Lu Tianyang carefully pushed her from behind, afraid that she might fall. Yet, she teased him about whether he had eaten too much at dinner since he seemed so weak. He frowned at her words; was she questioning his strength? With a cold snort, he thought that once they were married, he would show her what true strength meant.
Moments later, Lu Tianyang returned to the study and called Ye Bo. From what he knew about the Ye Family, everyone there except for Ye Bo regarded Ye Ya as an eyesore.
Ye Bo had just finished arguing with Zhao Meiqin. He was simply not cut out for business; why should he endure torment in the company just because they said now was the time to seize opportunities while that little schemer was absent?
He rubbed his temples; in this family, there was always only profit at stake—how suffocating it was.
A strange phone call rang out, and Ye Bo picked up the phone, his tone not very pleasant. "Hello, who is this?"
"Ye Bo, it's Lu Tianyang, your brother-in-law. Can you do me a favor?" Lu Tianyang got straight to the point, confident that Ye Bo would help him.
After hearing Lu Tianyang's request, Ye Bo asked, "Lu Tianyang, are you really planning to do this? Have you thought it through? Don't hurt my sister anymore; she's already suffered enough."
"You were watching TV, right? I've thought it over. Don't worry, I'll take good care of your sister."
"Alright, I'll help with this."
Lu Tianyang hung up the phone, and Ye Ya walked in with a worried expression. "Who were you talking to?"
Lu Tianyang walked over and wrapped his arm around her shoulders, raising an eyebrow and simply smiling. "Just a friend. Nothing much. He wanted to invite me out for drinks, but I told him I have a wife now, and she won't let me go."
"Lu Tianyang, aren't you afraid he'll laugh at you for being afraid of your wife? How can you maintain your dignity like this?" Ye Ya was somewhat skeptical. This man was so concerned about his image; she couldn't believe he was actually afraid of her. After all, he often bullied her.
