Fu Wan Jing glanced at the drink, noticing it wasn't too strong. Seeing Lu Tianyang already showing signs of inebriation, she leaned against his arm, looking like a delicate bird seeking comfort. She took out her phone and snapped a picture, a slight smile playing on her lips before sending it to Ye Ya. 0

Lu Tianyang raised an eyebrow; he had noticed Fu Wan Jing's little gesture. However, he was more curious about whether Ye Ya still cared about spending all her time with Xiao Lin. He had had enough of it. 0

Ye Ya was holding Chen Chen when she heard her phone buzz. Handing Chen Chen over to the nanny, she picked up her phone and nearly dropped it in shock. What on earth was Lu Tianyang up to? 0

She stepped outside and dialed Lu Tianyang's number directly. As the phone vibrated in his pocket, Fu Wan Jing glanced at it and pulled it out, confirming it was Ye Ya calling. 0

With a smirk, she said, "Lu Tianyang, Ye Ya is calling. Are you going to answer?" 0

"Let her be; I’m not going to fall apart just because she's not here," Lu Tianyang replied, a surge of frustration building inside him, all thanks to that woman. Fu Wan Jing took the phone and could tell from Lu Tianyang's expression that he had been arguing with Ye Ya. 0

"I'll help you answer. Just say whatever you need to," Fu Wan Jing said as she pressed the answer button and placed the phone on the table. "Lu Tianyang, I've connected you." 0

Lu Tianyang raised an eyebrow. "Wan Jing, let’s drink." He picked up his glass and lightly clinked it against Fu Wan Jing's. She smiled charmingly at him. "Lu Tianyang, drink less; it's not good for your health." 0

"You're the only one who cares about me; unlike some people who are heartless," Lu Tianyang said as he poured himself another drink, eventually hanging up the call. 0

Ye Ya was furious; this jerk was deliberately saying things for her to hear. She couldn't let that woman Fu Wan Jing have her way. Grabbing her car keys, she stormed out. "Guo Ma, take care of Chen Chen; I'm going out to bring the young master back." 0

Seeing Ye Ya's expression, Guo Ma felt a bit worried and couldn't help but remind her, "Lady, when you find the young master, talk to him calmly; don't rush things." 0

"I know," Ye Ya nodded. She wouldn't let that jerk fall into Fu Wan Jing's hands. They could talk things out; everyone has their limits. If Long Shaotang really succeeded that night, then she felt she wouldn't deserve to stand by Long Shaotang's side anymore. 0

Ye Ya was nearly beside herself with anger as she had Zuo Kai track down Lu Tianyang's location. No matter how upset she was, couples argue behind closed doors—what kind of behavior was this? Lu Tianyang, you jerk! When you come back, you'll know you were wrong. 0

In the bar, Lu Tianyang had drunk quite a bit. Fu Wan Jing took advantage of a trip to the restroom to make a call. Old Man Lu cared for her most; if everyone saw her getting close to Lu Tianyang, it would be a done deal—Ye Ya would have no choice but to leave. 0

After finishing her call, Fu Wan Jing returned to Lu Tianyang's side and looked at him with concern. "Lu Tianyang, you've had so much to drink; let me help you get back home." 0

Lu Tianyang leaned heavily against Fu Wan Jing, nearly toppling her over as she struggled to support him into the car. Halfway through the ride, he suddenly vomited. Fu Wan Jing quickly rolled down the window to let in some fresh air. "Lu Tianyang, are you feeling any better?" 0

Lu Tianyang did not respond to her words. He closed his eyes, feeling hazy, unable to shake off the image of that detestable woman from his mind, and he felt a pang of regret. 0

Fu Wan Jing helped him to the hotel. Although it was not far from the Lu Family, she had deliberately left evidence at the bar for Ye Ya to find. She thought that Ye Ya was not foolish and would surely be able to track them down. A performance like this would be incomplete without her. 0

Once inside the hotel, Fu Wan Jing opened the door and assisted him onto the bed. She had not drunk much, but Lu Tianyang had consumed quite a bit, and the scent of alcohol filled the room. 0

Sitting on the edge of the bed, she traced her fingers over his face, recalling how long it had been since she could look at him so closely. Time had added a few fine lines at the corners of his eyes, but it did nothing to diminish his charm. Compared to before, he seemed more mature and composed. 0

“Lu Tianyang, I love you,” Fu Wan Jing said as she leaned down and kissed him softly. Then she began to unbutton his shirt. She removed his trousers and shirt, and soon followed suit with her own clothes. 0

Lu Tianyang was heavily intoxicated. If he were to make a move on her, she wouldn’t mind at all. She took his arm and rested her head on it. 0

If only they could stay like this forever. She remembered their school days when they would lie on the grass together, her head resting on his arm just like now. Therefore, she was unwilling to let go; she would do whatever it took to bring Lu Tianyang back—this man was hers. 0

Lu Tianyang soon fell asleep due to a pounding headache, while Fu Wan Jing lay awake for a long time, quietly waiting. She calculated the time; people should be arriving soon. 0

When Ye Ya drove up to the bar, the bartender informed her that Lu Tianyang had already left and was believed to have gone to a hotel. 0

Ye Ya thought to herself, could it be that Lu Tianyang really went to a hotel with Fu Wan Jing? When she called him earlier, he had clearly been angry with her. Ye Ya reasoned that he was just venting; after all, they were still husband and wife. 0

Upon arriving at the hotel, Fu Wan Jing found that members of the Lu Family were already there. Du Huiru was supporting Lu Old Man. “What are you doing here?” she asked. 0

Ye Ya remained silent but furrowed her brow slightly. In the end, she followed behind the Lu Family as they went upstairs. Perhaps this was yet another play orchestrated by Fu Wan Jing. However, as she trailed behind them, regret and fear began to creep in. She feared that Lu Tianyang might truly be with Fu Wan Jing now; perhaps he still held disdain for her after all. After all that had happened with Long Shaotang—though it hadn’t gone all the way—she feared that any man would find it hard to accept her. 0

Du Huiru had received a call informing her that someone saw Lu Tianyang enter a hotel with Fu Wan Jing. Upon hearing this, Lu Old Man grew worried that his reckless grandson might actually do something with Wan Jing—after all, she was the granddaughter of an old comrade; he couldn’t let things go awry. 0

After some investigation, they located their room. When the door swung open and they saw the two of them on the bed, Lu Old Man’s cane struck out in anger. “You scoundrel! How dare you do such a thing with Wan Jing!” 0

The aftereffects of alcohol hit hard; Lu Tianyang was jolted awake by the shouting. Fu Wan Jing lay atop him, panic written all over her face as she looked at the people in the room—she certainly wouldn’t miss Ye Ya’s expression; her plan had succeeded. 0

At that moment, Lu Tianyang finally noticed the situation between him and Fu Wan Jing, and he felt a jolt of realization. "What on earth is going on with you and Wan Jing?" 0

"Lu Tianyang, I..." Fu Wan Jing was at a loss for words, knowing that anyone who saw them would easily understand what had happened. 0

"You scoundrel! How could you have an affair with Wan Jing? You must take responsibility for her!" 0

"Lu Tianyang, you really are something. Wan Jing is an innocent girl, unlike your loose morals. However, if you marry Wan Jing, my mother will definitely support you," Du Huiru said, glancing at Ye Ya beside her. Surprisingly, Ye Ya remained calm and didn't act like a shrew. 0

Seeing Ye Ya standing behind them, Lu Tianyang thought to himself that this was going to be a big mess. "Wife, let me explain." 0

Ye Ya merely smiled faintly. To find him, she had broken traffic rules multiple times; was he out of his mind to provoke her by getting involved with Fu Wan Jing? 0

"Lu Tianyang, I am already disappointed in you. As you wish, let's get a divorce." With that, Ye Ya no longer wanted to see anyone in the room. 0

"Ye Ya, you said it yourself; don't regret it later. Let me remind you that you could have signed the agreement back then. After the divorce, don’t expect to get any of the Lu family's assets," Du Huiru warned, fearing that Ye Ya might cause a scene or change her mind. She was practically ready to make her sign right there. 0

"I don't want any of the Lu family's assets; I only want to take my daughter with me." She had married him with her daughter in tow, and now that she was leaving, she would take only her daughter. There were too many issues between them; perhaps they really weren't meant to be together. 0

"Ye Ya, I don't agree!" Lu Tianyang tried to chase after her but realized he hadn't even dressed properly. 0

Seeing the situation unfold, Lu Old Man's beard bristled with anger. "Let me tell you, you must take responsibility for Wan Jing. Once you're divorced, marry her." 0

"Get dressed first; I'll go find her before she changes her mind." Du Huiru had been prepared for this moment; however, since they had moved out later on, she couldn't do much about it. Now she quickly arranged for the divorce agreement to be sent over just as Ye Ya was leaving the hotel. 0

Ye Ya halted in her tracks. "Mrs. Lu, is there something else?" 0

"Sign this before you leave. Once you sign it, you will have nothing to do with the Lu family anymore." Du Huiru handed over the already prepared divorce agreement. Ye Ya looked at Du Huiru and wondered if the Lu family was really so eager to get rid of her. 0

"Hurry up and sign it! Do you want to regret it later? Let me tell you that Lu Tianyang will definitely end up with Wan Jing; don’t make things more embarrassing for yourself," Du Huiru urged. She wanted to resolve this matter quickly; once signed, everything would be easier to handle. 0

“Alright, I’ll sign,” Ye Ya took a deep breath, picked up the steel pen, and signed her name. The moment she finished, she felt utterly drained. 0

Du Huiru glanced at the signature and nodded in satisfaction, waving her hand dismissively. “That’s enough, you can go now. This car seems to be a gift from Lu Tianyang to you. Well, the Lu Family doesn’t lack this car anyway, so consider it a gift.” 0

Ye Ya looked at the car, which indeed belonged to the Lu Family. However, it was getting late, and she was worried about Chen Chen. It was best to head back quickly; she no longer wanted to see anyone from the Lu Family or that shameless Fu Wan Jing. 0

In her pursuit of Lu Tianyang, she had truly gone to great lengths. But if it weren't for Lu Tianyang giving her this opportunity, would such a thing have happened? Ultimately, it was because there wasn’t enough love between them. 0

Lu Tianyang changed his clothes and glanced at Fu Wan Jing. He rubbed his still aching head and said, “Wan Jing, I’m sorry.” 0

“Lu Tianyang, don’t say you’re sorry. I’m willing,” Fu Wan Jing replied as she sat on the edge of the bed. This made Ye Ya realize that despite everything, she still held onto hope. With Lu Grandpa around, she didn’t believe Lu Tianyang would ever not marry her. 0

“Wan Jing, I apologize,” Lu Tianyang didn’t want to say much more. He had been drinking but knew he hadn’t crossed any lines with Fu Wan Jing. 0

He rushed downstairs and saw his mother smiling in the living room. “Mom, where’s Ye Ya?” 0

“What do you need her for? It’s all settled; the papers are signed. Look at her understanding nature,” Du Huiru said as she handed Lu Tianyang the divorce agreement that Ye Ya had signed. 0
