After the incident with Wang Jue, the atmosphere in the office was not very pleasant. Fortunately, as the end of the workday approached, Qiao Nuo thought about having dinner with Huo Yawen and managed to push the matter aside.
Little did she know that Huo Yawen had stood her up; an emergency patient from a car accident had arrived at the hospital, and he was called in to help.

Jin Chengyan embodied the archetype of a domineering CEO—stern and aloof.
In contrast, the man before her exuded a warm aura, yet upon closer inspection, there was an air about him that seemed to keep others at bay.
Suddenly, she realized that she instinctively compared every man she encountered to Jin Chengyan. It seemed that Jin Chengyan had become her internal benchmark for men.
“Hello, I’m Yan Beiting,” the man introduced himself right away, making Qiao Nuo feel slightly awkward for not introducing herself. “I apologize for meeting you this way, but it was unavoidable.”
Qiao Nuo looked at the man across from her with some astonishment.
However, the Yan surname was not commonly seen in Qin Cheng.
It was easy for Qiao Nuo to think of that low-key family, which was second only to the Jin Family in status.
But she had never heard of the name Yan Beiting.
"Actually, I am quite resistant to this way of meeting as well, but the elders have given their orders, and we juniors can only comply with their wishes. After meeting today, we can maintain a normal friendship, but if we want to take it further, that's not possible. I have no plans to get married at the moment."
He had just returned home a few days ago when his grandfather forced him to meet a potential match. As a sensible and filial junior, Yan Beiting would not go against his grandfather's wishes. Meeting was fine, but marriage was out of the question.
Hearing this, Qiao Nuo finally understood that this man in front of her regarded her as his prospective partner.
"Um... I'm sorry, Mr. Yan, but I also have no plans to get married at the moment," she said, since she was already married.
Yan Beiting was taken aback for a moment before breaking into a smile. "It seems that Miss Sun and I share the same thoughts; that makes things much easier."
"The reason I don't want to get married is that I'm not Miss Sun. You must have mistaken me for someone else!" It was quite careless to confuse potential partners like this.
Yan Beiting looked slightly surprised. It was his fault for being in such a rush; when his grandfather wanted to give him a photo, he had only glanced at it briefly. Upon entering the restaurant and seeing Qiao Nuo alone, he thought she resembled the person in the photo and approached her.
Who would have thought...
At this point, Yan Beiting felt a bit embarrassed. He politely stood up and extended his hand to her. "I'm sorry, I was careless and thought you were my blind date."
Yan Beiting was a well-educated man, and so was Qiao Nuo.
She also stood up and shook hands with Yan Beiting, as a way of forgiving him.
"It's alright," Qiao Nuo smiled. "However, even if you don't intend to get married, mistaking your blind date is quite impolite, especially towards the woman."
Qiao Nuo gave Yan Beiting a glance, indicating the real Miss Sun who was approaching from this direction.
