For the second time, Qiao Nuo kissed Jin Chengyan, this time with an intensity that left no room for refusal.
Jin Chengyan pushed Qiao Nuo away, pinning her against the wall.
Her slender frame felt a twinge of pain from his forceful action.
“Qiao Nuo!” He was indeed holding back, but Qiao Nuo was testing his limits!
“Jin Chengyan, I like you! I know you used to like Ruan Shengyu, but you told me she’s not your girlfriend. Since you’re single, why can’t I like you? I’m right here, so why shouldn’t I take the initiative?” Qiao Nuo had never liked being passive.
When she liked someone, she made it clear!
Earlier, she had asked Jin Chengyan if Ruan Shengyu was his girlfriend. If she were, Qiao Nuo would have stepped back; she didn’t want to be like Ni Yue, stealing someone else's boyfriend.
But if he wasn’t taken, why shouldn’t she pursue a single Jin Chengyan?
After all, how much could someone who had liked Jin Chengyan for six years possibly love him?
From a woman’s perspective, Ruan Shengyu could never have liked Jin Chengyan as much as Qiao Nuo did!
Qiao Nuo couldn’t bear to see that outstanding man hurt by a woman. She wanted to use her strength to protect him!
To offer him her greatest tenderness.
Though right now, the timing didn’t seem ideal.
She knew that what she was doing was akin to a moth flying into the flame.
Yet she did it anyway.
Once more, she leaned in close to Jin Chengyan, pressing her body tightly against his.
Jin Chengyan looked at Qiao Nuo, and for a fleeting moment, he almost wanted to pin her down on the bed and possess her completely.
But something he couldn't quite articulate stopped him from acting on that impulse. He felt that a girl like Qiao Nuo didn’t deserve to be treated that way.
Otherwise, even if A Shan had suddenly barged in just now, he might not have stopped.
“Go back to your room,” he said, avoiding her confession with those words.
You cannot wake someone who pretends to be asleep, nor can you make someone who doesn’t love you fall in love.
All of Qiao Nuo’s enthusiasm was extinguished by Jin Chengyan’s statement.
She had been delusional; she had been naive, which was why she found herself in this situation.
She took a step back, the coldness of the floor beneath her bare feet felt terrible. The feeling of being rejected was truly awful. She didn’t want to experience this again.
Qiao Nuo turned around and slowly walked toward her room.
But just as she was about to close the door, she was pushed inside by a force. Before she could react, the door was shut behind her.
“Jin Chengyan…”
“If this is what you want, I’ll give it to you.” With that, Jin Chengyan sealed her lips with his!
Everything happened too quickly for Qiao Nuo to process.
Jin Chengyan always seemed to bring someone crashing down only to lift them up again, leaving them feeling lost before offering a glimmer of hope!
Once more, she found herself on the bed as Jin Chengyan’s large hands swiftly stripped away her nightgown.
Her lips were sealed, and she couldn't utter a word, forced to endure all of Jin Chengyan's actions.
Wherever his hands roamed, a flush spread across her skin, making Qiao Nuo tremble even more than before.
She knew that this time, Jin Chengyan was serious!
However, Qiao Nuo felt a surge of fear!
In this moment, under these circumstances, was it truly appropriate to become intimate with Jin Chengyan?
Yet, there was no time to reconsider!
“Qiao Nuo, what are you thinking at this moment?” Jin Chengyan's captivating eyes locked onto hers, pulling her back to reality.
Qiao Nuo met Jin Chengyan's gaze directly; the proximity nearly made her forget to breathe. Such an enchanting man was right beside her, engaging in the most intimate act!
Before she could respond, Jin Chengyan leaned forward and entered her.

What was this feeling? Why did it come so suddenly? How could…
Jin Chengyan above her seemed to furrow his brow as well; suddenly, the expression between his brows softened considerably.
“Is it your first time?” He appeared to be holding back something, and the part of him buried within her remained still.
Qiao Nuo's face flushed with embarrassment; she dared not look at Jin Chengyan any longer and could only nod.
She heard Jin Chengyan let out a long sigh.
Later on, Qiao Nuo's memories became a blur; she only felt as if Jin Chengyan had been turning her over and over, from dusk to deep night, and from deep night to dawn.
He seemed utterly unfazed by fatigue, insatiable after tasting the sweetness of intimacy.
When Qiao Nuo finally woke up, it was already noon the next day. The down comforter draped over her felt incredibly comfortable. Aside from the lingering discomfort in her body, it would have been perfect if Jin Chengyan were by her side.
Just thinking about the wildness of the previous day with Jin Chengyan made her cheeks flush involuntarily.
After getting dressed, Qiao Nuo pulled back the covers and noticed faint marks on the white sheets, stirring a wave of emotions within her.
When she had been with Shen Fengye, he had made his intentions clear in both subtle and overt ways. Yet, Qiao Nuo always felt it wasn't the right time; she couldn't bring herself to take that step with him.
She had wanted to wait until marriage, but before that could happen, she discovered Shen Fengye's true nature.
However, with Jin Chengyan, it felt entirely different. She trusted him completely, wholeheartedly.
Qiao Nuo thought to herself that perhaps she was being a bit foolish.
Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, she spoke to her reflection: "Dad, I think I've found someone I want to love for a lifetime. Don't worry; I'll be okay."

Half an hour later, Qiao Nuo emerged from her room and unsurprisingly found Jin Chengyan in the kitchen.
He was dressed in a white shirt and black suit pants, leaning one hand on the countertop while watching the rich brown liquid drip from the coffee machine. The aroma of coffee filled the kitchen.
Qiao Nuo walked over and wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her face against his back.
"A Yan..." she murmured. She remembered that his close friends called him that. They could no longer be more intimate than this, and she felt confident enough to call him by that name.
Moreover, he had said before that she could call him that.
However, at that time, Qiao Nuo was so shy that she made it clear to separate their relationship. How could she call him like that?
But after last night, she felt that many things had changed!
Yet, it was not as gentle as Qiao Nuo had imagined; Jin Chengyan did not respond to her softly.
Instead, Jin Chengyan removed Qiao Nuo's hand from his waist, turned around, and looked at her with a face as cold as ice.
Suddenly, he chuckled, “Qiao Nuo, did you think you could use such clumsy tactics to ruin Ruan Shengyu's reputation?”
Qiao Nuo was bewildered. What was Jin Chengyan talking about?
But in the next moment, Jin Chengyan grabbed Qiao Nuo's chin, looking at her with a strange expression.
It was different from the passionate entanglement they had shared last night.
“A Yan?”
“Shut up! You have no right to call me that!” Jin Chengyan said harshly, tightening his grip on her chin!
The change came too quickly for Qiao Nuo to react.
It was like yesterday when he suddenly changed his mind and pinned her down on the bed; now he seemed like a completely different person as he held her chin!
Were both of these men Jin Chengyan?
“Qiao Nuo, no one can harm Ruan Shengyu. Whatever you did to hurt her, I will repay you in kind! If you want her reputation ruined, now it's your own reputation that's at stake, or perhaps even your heart... cannot be hidden!” Jin Chengyan pointed at the area over Qiao Nuo's heart.
With each jab, Qiao Nuo felt a sharp pain.
Suddenly, it dawned on her that everything Jin Chengyan had done was merely to avenge Ruan Shengyu, and he had never believed in her innocence from the very beginning!
She looked at Jin Chengyan with a realization that felt even worse than knowing Shen Fengye had betrayed her.
"So, you’ve always thought it was me who ruined Ruan Shengyu's reputation? You’ve always believed I was the one who orchestrated all of this?"
"Isn't it?" Jin Chengyan was absolutely convinced that Ruan Shengyu would never joke with her own reputation. After being in the entertainment industry for so long, she had always maintained her integrity!
He had just met Qiao Nuo, and she was already embroiled in such a situation; naturally, he felt compelled to do something to make amends for Ruan Shengyu.
"So, you ask me if I love you? You know full well that I was the one who took the initiative, yet you still rejected me, only to give me hope when I was disappointed and then sleep with me?" Qiao Nuo didn’t cry; perhaps the shock of the situation left her without the energy to weep.
Jin Chengyan released Qiao Nuo's chin and wiped his fingers with a tissue, as if he had just touched something unclean.
This action pierced Qiao Nuo’s heart like a dagger.
If he truly despised touching her so much, why had he held her tightly the night before? Why had he entangled himself with her?
Was it all just to ruin her reputation in revenge for Ruan Shengyu?
"Jin Chengyan, you really are quite the dedicated man! Willing to sacrifice your own integrity just to help Ruan Shengyu take revenge! Don’t act like I’m the one at a loss here. You’re the one who suppressed your disgust and slept with me—how noble of you!" Qiao Nuo scoffed coldly; what a man who would go to such lengths for his beloved!
Jin Chengyan hadn’t expected Qiao Nuo to respond this way. He thought she would cry and cling to him, calling him a scumbag. Instead, she remained so composed!
It was as if he were the one who had been wronged!
"Qiao Nuo, I have never seen such a shameless woman!"
“Jin Chengyan, I’ve never seen a man as incompetent as you!” Qiao Nuo shot back!
She glared at him and stormed out of Jin Mansion without looking back.
Jin Chengyan stood frozen in the kitchen. Had she really never seen a man with better skills? Where had she encountered such men?
Shen Fengye? Ha, that man was hardly worth mentioning!
Huo Yawen? She actually had a connection with that man!
Or was it Yan Beiting? That hypocritical man!
The more he thought about it, the angrier Jin Chengyan became. He picked up his coffee and took a big gulp, only to find it scalding hot. Frustrated, he tossed the blanket onto the countertop.
But where had Qiao Nuo gone now?
