Jin Chengyan walked over to Qiao Nuo, who had no intention of getting into the car. Ever since she left the Jin Family Mansion, this woman had been quite disobedient.
"Come here, Qiao Nuo," Jin Chengyan called out to her, his tone exuding a sense of masculinity, as if he wanted to assert his ownership of Qiao Nuo in front of Yan Beiting.

"I don’t know what you did to Qiao Nuo, but don’t you dare pin Ruan Shengyu’s incident on her! She had nothing to do with that! If you harm Qiao Nuo because of Ruan Shengyu, I won’t continue to tolerate it." This was Yan Beiting's bottom line.
Jin Chengyan cast a glance at Qiao Nuo. It seemed there were indeed many black knights around! Even Yan Beiting was doing her bidding!
"This has nothing to do with you; you'd best not interfere." Jin Chengyan dismissed Yan Beiting's threat. After all, he had just come from the Jin Family and remained unfazed even in the face of Jin Zhongshu and Yu Xin's intimidation.

Qiao Nuo seemed taken aback by his audacity, her expression twisting in disbelief. "I've never met such a shameless man. You clearly did something wrong and still refuse to apologize. Is that what you call gentlemanly behavior?" She sprang up from the ground.
Water from the pool splashed onto Jin Chengyan's legs as she moved, likely on purpose.
She stepped closer to him, closing the distance between them.
“Jin Shao, what are you staring at?” She wasn’t blind; how could she not notice where Jin Chengyan’s gaze had been just now!
Jin Chengyan was speechless; this woman!
“Don’t get angry!” Qiao Nuo patted Jin Chengyan’s chest, calming him down. “You know that tomorrow your family will announce our marriage. As a possessive woman, I don’t want to see any rumors about you and other women, especially Ruan Shengyu! As long as I still have that marriage certificate with you, don’t even think about being with Ruan Shengyu!”
“Qiao Nuo!” Jin Chengyan grabbed Qiao Nuo’s hand. How could she be so unreasonable and still have the right to meddle in his affairs?
“You owe me!” Qiao Nuo boldly declared, ignoring how tightly Jin Chengyan was gripping her hand. “I didn’t make a move on Ruan Shengyu, but you did to me.”
