“Qiao Nuo, are you sure you want me to wear this?” Jin Chengyan looked skeptically at the couple's sweatshirt that Qiao Nuo had pulled out for him. Although it was a low-key black, he was far too old to be wearing something like this.
“Aren't you going to wear it? If you don’t, I’ll just get someone else to!” Qiao Nuo was already dressed in the women's version of the sweatshirt, paired with jeans and a pair of Air Jordans. She looked just like a college student—youthful, lively, and radiant.
Hearing Qiao Nuo say that, Jin Chengyan immediately snatched the sweatshirt from her hands.
“Try wearing couple outfits with another man!” Jin Chengyan obediently took off his loungewear, put on a fitted shirt underneath, and then slipped on the sweatshirt. The fit was surprisingly perfect!
Qiao Nuo had also prepared matching Air Jordans for him. When they stood in front of the mirror together, they truly resembled one of those couples you see in college.
Qiao Nuo was youthful and charming, while Jin Chengyan looked nothing like a man in his thirties.
She took out her phone and snapped a picture of the two of them in the mirror.
“We haven’t taken a couple’s photo yet!” Qiao Nuo saved the picture.
“In a few days, I’ll take you to get wedding photos. I know it’s cliché, but I’m just an ordinary person, so I can’t avoid being ordinary,” Jin Chengyan said as he gently wrapped his arm around Qiao Nuo and pressed a soft kiss on her cheek.
Qiao Nuo smiled in response.
“Let’s go on a date today! We’ve been together for so long and haven’t gone on a proper date. It feels like we’re not even in a relationship,” Qiao Nuo said, tugging at the hem of Jin Chengyan's shirt playfully.
At first, Jin Chengyan found it a bit… hard to adjust to Qiao Nuo’s playful demeanor. But after a couple of days, he found himself completely unable to resist it.

Jin Chengyan walked outside with Qiao Nuo, saying, "There's no need to rush; we have a lifetime to take things one step at a time."
Qiao Nuo, walking beside him, suddenly fell silent.

But the time they truly spent together was so short.
"Let me drive today; you don't even know where we're going," Qiao Nuo said as she took Jin Chengyan's car keys and hopped into the driver's seat.
After that, Qiao Nuo drove them to Qin Cheng's pedestrian street, where couples, friends, elderly people, and children strolled together along the bustling road.
Among them were couples dressed in matching outfits, just like Qiao Nuo and Jin Chengyan. Initially worried about feeling awkward, Jin Chengyan soon realized that no one paid them any mind.

"Don't you feel particularly happy?" Qiao Nuo asked with a smile, tilting her head up to look at him.
He lowered his gaze slightly and met Qiao Nuo's smiling face.
Alright, Jin Chengyan admitted that being with Qiao Nuo made him happy no matter what they were doing.
He didn't deny that their physical connection had been important in the past, but now, beyond that physical bond, there was also a profound unity of souls.
He knew that Qiao Nuo was the woman he could spend his life with!
"I really wish that the person I met from the very beginning was you." After missing out on so many years and so many beautiful moments, Jin Chengyan was already in his thirties!

Qiao Nuo seemed particularly reckless with time, running through two red lights along the way.

There were so many things she wanted to do with Jin Chengyan, and she was genuinely worried about running out of time!
"If you really want to go, I can contact them and ask them to extend the closing time, or we could just clear the park for ourselves," Mr. Jin said with a hint of his wealthy arrogance.
"Don't be ridiculous! How can we enjoy the amusement park with just the two of us? It's supposed to be fun with more people around, filled with laughter!" The thought of being in an amusement park with only the two of them was quite daunting.

Fortunately, they arrived just ten minutes before closing time, becoming the last batch of visitors allowed into the park.
As expected, it was just as Qiao Nuo had said; it was much more enjoyable with a crowd, creating a lively atmosphere.
Qiao Nuo grabbed Jin Chengyan's hand and insisted that they each buy a Mickey Mouse headband. She was adamant about putting one on him…
He initially refused, but when he saw a couple walking by wearing the same headbands, it didn't seem so bad after all. So he allowed Qiao Nuo to place it on his head.
Qiao Nuo then declared she wanted to ride the carousel, and she headed straight for it. Jin Chengyan really couldn't join her; it was filled with little kids, and if he got on, he might scare them!
So Qiao Nuo compromised and let him stand outside to watch her.
However, Jin Chengyan couldn't shake off an unsettling feeling, especially when Qiao Nuo disappeared from his sight as she turned to the other side. He felt an overwhelming sense of losing her.
He feared that when she turned back around, she might no longer be on the carousel.
As Qiao Nuo stepped down from the carousel, he held her tightly in his arms.
She had no idea that within just a few minutes, his heart had surged with tumultuous emotions.
Arriving in front of the Ferris wheel, Qiao Nuo first pushed Jin Chengyan up into one of the cabins. Just as he reached out to take her hand and join her inside, she suddenly exclaimed, "I dropped my phone outside!"
The Ferris wheel began to ascend slowly, and Jin Chengyan tried to get down, but Qiao Nuo closed the door.
"Qiao Nuo—"
Qiao Nuo smiled at Jin Chengyan, watching him rise higher and higher before turning away.
Inside the Ferris wheel, Jin Chengyan gazed into the night, watching as Qiao Nuo's figure faded into the crowd. Was she leaving?
