Book Synopsis
Fenxian Altar Before, the smoke was lingering, and the red-clothed girl, covered in injuries, cast a resentful glance at the group of heavenly gods in front of her, then stopped at the cold-faced white-robed immortal: "Do you not believe me, do you also think I am the murderer?"
The immortal's lips moved, but in the end, he said nothing.
"Zhuque Fengyi, you burned the clan members in front of all the immortals. How can Immortal Yuheng believe you? Moreover, now that you have injured the heavenly soldiers and escaped from the heavenly prison, your crime is even greater. Even if the higher immortals believe you, what good will it do?"
"I did not kill anyone! I also do not know why when I woke up, twenty clan members were all burned to death! The Zhuque clan is born proud and will not tolerate false accusations. Why should I be ordered to be imprisoned for life without investigation? I refuse to accept it!"
"Enough."
Yuheng finally spoke, his face as calm as ever, "You have committed such a serious crime. It is only due to the mercy of the Heavenly Emperor that you have not been sentenced to death. If you realize your mistake and obediently come back with us, this escape from prison will not be pursued."
Upon hearing this, Fengyi's eyes revealed a sense of sorrow, a faint self-mockery at the corner of her lips, then she raised her head high, laughing more and more madly.
The gods frowned, thinking she had gone mad.
Only Yuheng vaguely felt uneasy and couldn't help but take a few steps forward.
It was only then that he saw the despair in her tearful eyes.
With a shock in his heart, Yuheng instinctively rushed forward, but it was already too late.
As she laughed, her body suddenly tilted backward and fell into Fenxian Altar Yuheng only managed to prop himself on the edge of the platform, watching helplessly as she was engulfed by the raging flames.
A sharp, piercing cry came from The Burning Immortal Altar, tearing through his nerves, and suddenly, all sound disappeared from the world. In his ears, there was only her final wail.
