Book Synopsis
In 1930s London, seasoned detective Matthew White had planned to take a vacation, but he was drawn into a series of bizarre serial murders after receiving a mysterious letter. The letter hinted that each case was related to the order of the Alphabet, starting with "A," and each victim was connected to a specific letter, with complex symbolic meanings hidden behind the cases.
White's investigation revealed that all the victims had purchased specific books from a place called Elliot's Bookstore, where the owner, Abel Elliott, had a deep interest in letters and operated a secret Letter Workshop. As the investigation progressed, White gradually uncovered the veil of a mysterious organization known as the Alphabet Society, which was obsessed with ancient symbolism and fate manipulation, committing symbolic murders through intricate letter combinations in an attempt to complete some ancient ritual.
White successfully infiltrated the Alphabet Society and ultimately exposed their sacrificial ceremony taking place in an abandoned church, thwarting a larger-scale murder plot. However, after the case concluded, White began to feel that everything around him still brimmed with unresolved threats. He discovered that the last letter of the Alphabet, "Z," hinted at a greater conspiracy yet to be fully unveiled.
The story concludes with White's determination to continue pursuing the remnants of the Alphabet Society and unraveling deeper mysteries behind it, suggesting that the cycle of letters may never truly end.
